Chl e Bailey Says She Had Separation Anxiety From Sister, Halle, Reveals She Questioned Her Singing Ability After Going Solo, + Talks Being Compared To Beyonce: There Will Never Be Another Queen Chl e Bailey is opening up about her career as a solo artist. While visiting The Tamron Hall Show, singer and actress Chl e Bailey, 23, spoke about separating from her sister, learning to love her body, and the best advice she has received from her mentor, Beyonc .

Chl e Bailey Bursting on the music scene with her sister as pop duo, Chloe X Halle, Chl e Bailey says going solo 'happened very naturally' but sooner than she thought. She said, "My sister got the role of Ariel and I'm so proud of her and with that, she had to go to London for about eight months and you know it almost turned into two years because of the pandemic so with that we were separated. It was really hard for the both of us, we had separation anxiety." Watch Video on YouTube She added, "We both knew one day we would do our own projects we just didn't know it would come so fast. We're not twins but we operated like we were."

Halle Bailey and Chl e Bailey Chl e revealed to deal with the separation, she created he own music. She eventually felt confident to release it however, that did not end the anxiety. She added, "I had to do a lot of soul searching. I had to talk to myself a lot and remind myself that my voice is special and what I have to say matters because I did have a bit of separation anxiety where I was like 'Am I even good on my own?' I was even doubting my singing voice and my ability to perform because I love to perform, I love to dance, so there was a lot of that.

Chl e Bailey But the insecurities did not stop at her voice. The 'Have Mercy' singer says although she loves her 'backside and curves,' she was still insecure about her image. She said, "This is the best feeling...when beautiful women of all ages come up to me and say you inspire me to be more confident in my body. That means everything because you don't know how long it's even taken me to feel confident in this skin I am in. Even today, I struggle with my weight - all of that - so the version that people see of me where they think I'm ultra-confident is not me on daily." Watch Video on YouTube She added, "I'm 23 now and I'm growing into my own. Even though I have a baby face and on the inside, I feel like a child, but on stage, I feel like the grown woman that I am and I think for me, I've always been in tune with myself and I'm insecure a lot of times but I've always loved my backside and my curves and who I am as a woman." She continued "And I think it is so special and important for women to admire themselves, and believe in who they are and not wait for the world to tell them they're beautiful and special." Following her MTV VMAs performance last month, many started comparing the 'Grown-fish' star to her mentor Beyonc . On the comparison, Chl e Bailey said, "One, that's the greatest compliment I could ever receive, and anytime someone says that I get filled and overjoyed but I will say there will never be another Beyonc , there will never be another queen." Lil Nas X Honored With 'Lil Nas X Day' By Atlanta City Council Lil Nas X has taken the music world by storm and now he's being celebrated more than ever. The Atlanta native attended a homecoming event hosted by Atlanta musician and producer, Dallas Austin.The Atlanta City Council wanted to commemorate his success by honoring the 22-year-old rapper with his own holiday which they named "Lil Nas X Day."

His official day in Atlanta is Oct. 20th, 2021. Council member, Antonio Brown, the first openly gay councilman who's also running for mayor, presented him with two City Council proclamations for his achievements. He continues, "And Lil Nas, I just want to say, you inspire me. The Industry Baby rapper then teared up and said a few words as he accepted his awards. He said, "I would not have imagined I would be here four years ago ... This is incredible, man, I mean life just keeps getting better. The Breakfast Club's DJ Envy opens up the conversation and asks, "Why are you ending Insecure?" Issa Rae responds and says, "I mean since season one I knew I wanted to have 5 seasons and I talked to Prentice about it and he was like 'How long you wanna go for' and I was like 5 and he was like 'okay sounds about right.' But it felt like that's the right amount of time to tell a concise story."

Kandi Burruss Kandi Burruss Reveals Someone Once Questioned Her Motherhood Because She Had A Baby Via Surrogate: It Makes Me Emotional Kandi Burruss takes "jack of all trades" to a whole new level. The 45-year-old RHOA star is a successful singer/songwriter, actress, businesswoman, and wife. She's also a mother of three and shares two children, five-year-old Ace Wells and one-year-old Blaze, with her husband Todd Tucker. Her oldest daughter, 17-year-old Riley Burruss, is from a previous relationship.

Todd Tucker, Kandi Burruss, Ace Wells Tucker, Riley Burruss, Blaze Tucker During a recent interview, Kandi Burruss opened up about how some people negatively reacted when they learned she decided to have her youngest child, Blaze, via a surrogate. She shared, "It really hurt my feelings. I don't like really talking about it because it makes me emotional. I don't think she was trying to hurt my feelings. But when she saw it, or heard that I was doing it, she was just like, 'Aren't you afraid that you're not gonna bond with your baby?'" Kandi Burruss didn't reveal who made the harsh comment but she did share that the individual was older than her and seemingly from a different time. "She's older, so I guess her initial thinking is like just because somebody doesn't physically have their baby that they won't be able to have that same bond as a mother who physically pushed the baby out." She added, "And I can tell you for sure, if you ever had a doubt in your mind, that is not true."

Kandi Burruss In a previous interview, Kandi shared why she decided to have her third child via a surrogate. She said, "It was a blessing we was able to get [our son] Ace through IVF, but in the process of doing IVF, we still have two more embryos." She continued, "And with that being said, as soon as we had Ace, we knew that we would want to possibly use our other embryos, but I had a high-risk pregnancy last time, so that's why we decided we would consider surrogacy." She added, "Todd and I are both nervous about it. I think it's easier for Todd to handle or deal with because as a man he's used to somebody else carrying the baby. But for me it's a little bit harder for me to deal with the thought because I'm supposed to carry my own kids in my mind. But, hey, with science, it's made other options to be able to make it happen."

Simone Biles Says She's 'Still Scared To Do Gymnastics' As She Gets Emotional Over Mental Health Journey: I Don't Think People Understand The Magnitude Of What I Go Through Simone Biles is getting candid about her mental health journey since this year's Olympics. As previously reported, the 24-year-old gymnast withdrew from multiple events to focus on her wellbeing.

Now in an emotional interview, she's revealing how the condition known as the "twisties" ( a mental block where an athlete loses their spatial awareness during an intense routine) has affected her performance. Back in July, she explained the condition on her Instagram stories.

She's currently the headliner of the Gold Over America Tour but only does floor routines to prevent experiencing the issue. Simone Biles explains how it feels to have to avoid something she loves and says, "To do something that I've done forever and just not be able to do it because of everything I've gone through is really crazy because I love this sport so much." Simone Biles' voice cracks as she holds back tears but continues. "It's hard. I'm sorry. And I don't think people understand the magnitude of what I go through, but for so many years to go through everything that I've gone through having a front, I'm proud of myself." She goes on to say, "The twisting once I got back will come back, but I'm still scared to do gymnastics."

The seven-time Olympic champion also opened up about the sexual abuse that she, along with other fellow gymnasts, suffered at the hands of former USA Gymnastics doctor Larry Nassar. "To go through something like that and to be a voice for all of the survivors and people who want to come forward and talk about their stories, it's really inspiring. But it's hard that I have to go through it, because again people form their own opinions and I don't really get to say what's going on." Back in August, R my Martin filed a lawsuit against 50 Cent's liquor company-Sire Spirits-and accused him of copying the company's XO Cognac bottle design. Specifically, R my Martin says the bottle design for 50 Cent's Branson Cognac-produced by a subsidiary of Sire Spirits-was based off of the XO Cognac design.

The "Candy Shop" rapper's lawyer-Reena Jain-recently dished on the matter, saying: "No brand or company has the right to exclude others from making or selling curved bottles for cognac or other alcohol. Nonetheless, Remy Martin is on a mission to eliminate Sire Spirits from the cognac market." She continued, accusing R my Martin of attempting to "monopolize the cognac market" by trying to remove 50 Cent's competing brand: "Remy Martin's efforts to monopolize the cognac market and draw spirits into a multi-front legal battle in order to force an exorbitant settlement should not be allowed to continue." 50 Cent has not publicly spoken on the matter. In the new tell-all book about the Housewives franchise titled Not All Diamonds and Ros , Andy Cohen revealed how Kim Zolciak-Biermann's husband, Kroy Biermann, reacted during the explosive reunion. He shared, "I just remember Kroy yelling at me in the bathroom after the reunion." He continued, "It was the only time during the whole run where I ever felt like I was going to get punched."

The pair had feuded on-and-off for some time before the incident, and the fallout from the ordeal still divides much of the RHOP fanbase to this day. Resultingly, she accuses him of not caring about the women's well-being, saying: "I even reached out to Andy's assistant and asked for him to call me. Nothing. That's f**ked up. I know he has well over a hundred Housewives, all texting and calling him all the time. But how many of them were physically attacked on camera by their costar? The fact that he couldn't even schedule ten minutes to reach out to me? You don't give a f**k. Notably, Candiace later apologized for "fussing" at Andy in the book. Yesterday, she uploaded a photo of her and other stars of the series-mostly from RHONJ-and, in part, captioned the post: "Celebrating our incredibly gifted and deserving friend @ninedaves and the legacy that is this CRAZY, beautiful, legendary planet called Housewives. Yesterday (Wednesday, Oct. 20), Paris Hilton joined a group of congressional Democrats to create new legislation preventing child and teen abuse in youth centers. In a new interview, the 40-year-old former reality star opens up about her own experience in youth facilities and why the change is needed.

On her experience, Paris Hilton, who previously took to her YouTube documentary to open up about abuse she endured from multiple facilities, said this week that she was choked, slapped, spied on while showering, and deprived of sleep. Watch Video on YouTube She added, "There are thousands of these types of schools, and there are almost 200,000 children every year put into these places. And every day, children are being physically, emotionally, verbally, psychologically, and sexually abused. She continued, "The multibillion-dollar troubled teen industry has been able to mislead parents, school districts, child welfare agencies, and juvenile justice systems for decades. Ro Khanna (D-Calif.) the new legislation will give children the right to call their parents, freedom from restraints, and access to clean drinking water and nutritional meals. Many children in youth centers across the country are currently not guaranteed these rights.

Once introduced, the bill could make 'sweeping' changes for youth facilities, including those with foster children and children suffering from mental health disorders. On the new bill, Rep. R. Kelly Temporarily Placed On Suicide Watch Immediately After Guilty Verdict + Singer's Child Pornography Trial To Begin Aug. 1st In Chicago There is a new update on R. Kelly's well-being, as well as his upcoming Chicago-based trial. Late last month, R. Kelly was found guilty on all counts in his highly-anticipated sex trafficking trial in Brooklyn. The 54-year-old disgraced singer will be sentenced on May 4th, and he faces anywhere from 10 years to life behind bars. Yesterday (Wednesday, Oct. 20th), R. Kelly had his first court hearing since being convicted back on Sept. 27th. The hearing was in regards to R. Kelly's upcoming trial in Chicago, where he will face child pornography and obstruction of justice charges beginning on Aug. 1st, 2022.

R.Kelly While the recent court hearing was to set a date for R. Kelly's Chicago trial, attorney Steve Greenberg made quite a revelation about the singer. The attorney stated that, after being found guilty, R. Kelly was placed on suicide watch-though it was later lifted by the U.S. Bureau of Prisons. It's also worth noting that Steve Greenberg didn't suggest R. Kelly was suicidal, and recently-convicted people are commonly placed on increased monitoring in many U.S. prisons. This news comes over three months after Steve Greenberg officially withdrew from R. Kelly's sex trafficking trial in Brooklyn. The decision came due to conflicts between the various lawyers on the singer's legal team.

Chris Brown took to his Instagram story showing the basketball player support and calling him his brother.

As previously reported, the NBA announced that unvaccinated players would not be paid for missing games. The new rule directly impacted Kyrie Irving, who has elected not to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

Kyrie Irving Irving later suggested that he was 'promised' that he would be excused from getting the vaccine and thought he would be able to play. He said, "What would you do if you felt uncomfortable going into the season when you were promised that you have exemptions or that you didn't have to be forced to get the vaccine? Yaya Mayweather Faces Up to 20 Years For The Stabbing Of NBA Youngboy's Baby Mother Floyd Mayweather's daughter, Yaya Mayweather, is facing serious legal trouble. As previously reported, she was arrested in April of 2020 for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. She is accused of stabbing NBA Youngboy's baby mother, Lapattra Lashai Jocaobs, multiple times which resulted in serious injuries. Watch Video on YouTube According to reports, Yaya Mayweather is facing up to 20 years in prison for the assault. The 21-year-old welcomed a baby boy with her on and off again boyfriend, NBA Youngboy, this past January and hasn't addressed her legal troubles. Their baby together is the 21-year-old rapper's 7th child.

She did however, show support for NBA Youngboy in March. He was arrested in connection to a drug bust and he was charged with one count of illegal possession of firearms by a felon, and possession of an unregistered weapon. Because of his arrest, Yaya Mayweather posted a story to her Instagram page with her newborn wearing a onesie that said, "Free My Daddy"

EXCLUSIVE: Kenya Moore Reveals Her Body Snapped Back 3 Weeks After She Stopped Breastfeeding + Reflects On How Her Grandmother Inspired Her Love For Dance & Dishes About Being On 'DWTS': I've Never Been Happier Kenya Moore recently opened up about her personal life and her current Dancing with the Stars gig during an interview with theJasmineBRAND! Over the weekend, we conducted an EXCLUSIVE interview with Kenya Moore of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Initially, the reality TV star revealed she got a breast lift and reduction. While she and interviewer Jasmine Brand were on the subject of breasts, Kenya Moore stated: "This is a direct result of a breast lift and reduction! They are sitting, honey-they are definitely sitting now." She then revealed that her breasts ultimately increased to a G cup after giving birth to her daughter, Brooklyn Daly. She remarked: "After Brooklyn, my breasts never stopped growing." Kenya then dished on her breastfeeding experience and revealed that her body bounced back just three weeks after switching her daughter to formula: "I breastfed for like three months... [My breasts] definitely got bigger, but I wasn't producing a whole lot of milk. Like, I was struggling with the whole milk situation. They got bigger, but after I stopped breastfeeding my body went right back like after three weeks. I was surprised! Because of my age, I was like 'I don't know.' But I knew I took care of myself, I knew that I had really good abs and a good core, [but] I was just like 'I just don't know at my age.' And then at three weeks I just looked down and my tummy was flat and I didn't have stretch marks. I was like 'Oh my God, thank The Lord!' I think it was [from] me taking care of myself and working out all the time."

Kenya Moore and Brooklyn Daly Kenya Moore then segued to discussing her time on DWTS, as she's currently starring on the series' 30th season, dancing alongside Brandon Armstrong. She initially revealed that she's been a longtime fan of the show and said that her late grandmother, Doris, is the one who fostered her love for dance: "I've watched it from the beginning. I used to watch it with my grandmother-she's the one that introduced me to dance. If you guys know anything about me, you know that my grandmother raised me since I was like three days old. She introduced me to dance. We didn't have money, so she took us to like this free community center in Detroit. And they had the free classes and we just had to kind of raise money for our little costumes for our recital... I was about 5 or 6 years old, and when I tell you I have never been happier than dancing. Like I love to dance... But my grandmother's the one who introduced me to dance, and I have just had a love for it ever since." Kenya then stated that, while she had been invited to appear on DWTS before, she was never able to do so because of other responsibilities: "When Dancing with the Stars came out, I was like 'Oh my God, I wanna do this show so badly!' But it just never lined up. I've been offered to do it before, but because of my schedule or other things it just never worked out. Because production was pushed on Real Housewives, I was like 'This is the first time I'm actually gonna be able to do it.'"

Kenya Moore and her 'DWTS' partner, Brandon Armstrong She then continued to gush about being on DWTS, saying: "I'm finally here, and I'm enjoying every single minute of it! When I tell you I have never been happier, I am so happy on that dance floor-it's just unbelievable!" Kenya then acknowledged the support she's received from RHOA co-star Kandi Burruss, who live-streamed the premiere episode on her Instagram. "She was so supportive... Her fans were excited, my fans were excited, and they all went out to vote also! And I think it just really helped me a lot for the first two episodes."

Specifically, she spoke on recently injuring her ribs: "I have a contusion on two of my ribs. When I was in the air in the Moana dance, the last spin when I was way up on his shoulders, as soon as he [put me in the air] I felt like my rib literally rolled over on the other rib. I remember being in the air thinking 'I just broke my rib!' I've never broken a bone in my life, and it literally felt like my rib rolled on top of the other rib out of place... I am still injured. I've been seeing the doctor, he's been giving me treatments and I'm patched up. I have so many injuries-this old horse ain't what she used to be!... But I'm still here!" She also acknowledged the emotional side of being on DWTS: "I was crying the other day in bed after that second elimination. It just got to me-everything just got to me... It was a lot of stress. But I'm not the only one that felt it-a lot of other people felt it [because] we're not used to this rigorous kind of schedule. And after that night, when I was saved, I remember just being in my bed. I felt defeated and alone and was like 'I don't know what's happening.'" Kenya continued: "But then the next day I woke up [and picked myself up]. I'm the only woman of color there, and I have to represent for my sisters! So I'm out here for you guys-I'm out here for my grandmother, for my daughter, and I just want to be an example of strength. And in that strength is beauty. That's one of my goals here: to show people you can live your dreams." Delonte West Arrested In South Florida For Disorderly Intoxication, Former NBA Star Was Allegedly Banging On Police Department Doors W/ 2 Open Alcohol Containers There has been an unfortunate update in the case of former NBA star Delonte West. Last night (Tuesday, Oct. 19th), Delonte West was arrested in Boynton Beach, Florida for disorderly intoxication, having an open container, and resisting an officer. The matter started when, at around 9 p.m., Delonte West allegedly began yelling and banging on the glass lobby doors of the Boynton Beach Police Department. Once officers went to investigate the racket, they found Delonte, 38, with a can of beer and a bottle of vodka-both open. When officers confronted the former athlete, he allegedly began walking away and drunkenly screaming. They later got him into handcuffs, though they alleged he "continued to be belligerent and screaming profanities and obscure rants." Delonte West was reportedly released on bail earlier today (Wednesday, Oct. 20th). This news is the latest update in Delonte's substance abuse recovery process. Last year, Delonte West checked into a Florida rehab facility. The decision came after Mark Cuban-owner of the Dallas Mavericks-helped reunite the former NBA athlete with his mother, Delphina Addison. Mark Cuban ultimately stepped in after a photo began circulating showing Delonte West panhandling on the streets of North Dallas.

Mark Cuban later shared updates about how Delonte was doing: "He's making progress. I just hope he stays with it. The first couple weeks are tough. Going through rehab and dealing with addiction, that's not easy and dealing with mental illness, that's not easy. So, I hope he fights his way through it."
