Twang and Round performed at the Redneck Rave last weekend, and instead of their typical country-rap, they played their newest gospel song, “My Will Be Done.”   “It was literally like an altar call. Like people were, you know, feeling the spirit. Nothing but love,” said the band members. The Edmonson County sheriff says the event led to multiple injuries and arrests – 14 arrests and 48 people charged with various offenses – to be exact. Twang and Round says most of these numbers are nothing but “fake news.” The artists have performed for the rave for years, watching the crowd grow from about 100 to 20,000. The singers said that while some news headlines painted the event in a negative light, they say the true message here was love, diversity and family bonding. The band members said, “What we seen was a lot of smiling faces, a lot of diversity, white, black Asian, Hispanic. All walks of life.
