Boasting skills as a DJ, MC and most notably, Producer â€" the Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum Scram Jones has solidified his place in the music industry working with such artists as Mariah Carey, 50-Cent, and Lloyd Banks.

This triple threat was born and raised in New Rochelle, NY where he was introduced into the world of hip-hop after hearing the Fat Boys and Run DMC’s first album. From break dancing in the school yard to learning how to work the turntables â€" Scram Jones’ only intention has always been to make the music he loves.

The DJ After teaching himself how to scratch, mix, and blend, Scram Jones’ turntabling skills proved lethal in 2003 when he won second place in the East Coast Finals of Guitar Center’s DJ Battles. Scram then went on to receive three consecutive nominations for Best Mixtape Producer at the respected Justo Mixtape Awards. He also hosted his own weekly radio show called “The Chop Shop” for 4 years on 92WICB in upstate NY.

Scram has since toured the world DJing for Raekwon (of Wu-Tang Clan fame), Kool G. Rap, Noreaga, and Saigon. He has also taken his turntabling skills to countless clubs around the world, and currently holds residency at some of the most exclusive clubs in New York City where you will find him mingling among the likes of Russell Simmons, Rhianna, and Lady Gaga.

The Producer Scram’s first break as a producer came with rapper Tragedy Khadafi, when he served as A&R director for Tragedy’s album Still Reporting and produced 4 tracks on project â€" 2 featuring Havoc from Mobb Deep. He then went on to produce Jae Millz’s first single No, No, No (which heated up the airwaves with a remix featuring Cam’Ron and T.I.), the Terror Squad single Yeah, Yeah, Yeah and the Black Rob single Ready. He also produced Remy Ma’s buzz single Lights, Camera, Action.

Other notable tracks include: Work Magic feat. Young Buck (off Lloyd Banks’ album Hunger for More) and Just a Memory feat. Clipse (off The Notorious B.I.G.’s Duets-The Final Chapter album).

Scram Jones was nominated for a Grammy for his production on the record Your Girl from Mariah Carey’s multi-platinum album The Emancipation of Mimi.

The MC In 1999, Scram released his first record Liquid Heat which gained underground buzz. In 2000, he helped start the first weekly open-mic show in NYC: End of the Weak, where he performed on stage as both an MC and DJ. In 2001, Scram won first place in Tommy Hilfiger’s National Demo Contest. Hilfiger launched a national campaign featuring Scram Jones - providing a platform to promote his music. These accomplishments led to a coveted feature in The Source magazine’s Unsigned Hype. Scram has since collaborated with legends Kool G. Rap, Nas, and Styles P.

Each of his successes has granted Scram Jones the privilege of appearing in the likes of XXL, Vibe, and the Source Magazine. Additionally, Scram has tapped into the Latin market, collaborating with Pharell Williams on Latin artist Sergio Veneno’s project. (Scram is currently managing Veneno and helped earn him a deal with Star Trak-Interscope). Scram has also performed and collaborated with the multi-platinum Latin group Aventura.

With production and MC credits on multi-platinum albums and artists ranging from R&B to Latin to Hip-Hop â€" Scram Jones has proved that his melodies and beats have universal appeal. Scram Jones is not your average Producer, DJ or MC; he is a Grammy-nominated “triple threat”!
