In this new entry in our 'Diamonds In The Rough' category, we would like to introduce you to upcoming artist Hoodtrophy Bino and his brand new single titled "Keep It Real".
Los Angeles' own Hoodtrophy Bino is back with "Keep It Real," a striking new single that peels back every layer of the artist's soul. Known for his raw delivery and unfiltered authenticity, Bino delivers one of his most heartfelt performances to date; a powerful testament to pain, perseverance, and purpose.
Backed by deeply emotional instrumentation, "Keep It Real" captures the essence of Bino's journey - from struggle to survival, from the streets to the stage. The track finds him reflecting on the realities of his community and the challenges that shaped him:
"My granny still struggling / My grandad's still on crack / My mama's still praying / But them bills back to back."
These lines hit hard because they come from lived experience, not embellishment. For Bino, this record represents more than music, it's a transition point, both personally and artistically. "'Keep It Real' is a departure from my lover boy songs," Bino shares. "It is my testimony. I've been through it but I will make it! As God is my witness - watch!"
The single offers a glimpse into Bino's forthcoming full-length project, The Invasion, dropping this November. The album is poised to showcase his evolution as an artist and features collaborations with some of the biggest names in the game.
Bino's momentum continues to build with an impressive live schedule; from opening for Trippie Redd and Chris Brown to hitting the road for the RJMrLA Tour and performing alongside Soulja Boy at Rolling Loud Los Angeles. His previous single, "I Want Her" featuring Kalan.FrFr, became a breakout hit, earning airplay on SiriusXM The Heat, Power 106, 96.1 The Beat, and Power 105, while his music has been spotlighted at major cultural events like SneakerCon, Big 3, LA Clippers, and Rams games.
But beyond the accolades and collaborations, Hoodtrophy Bino's story is one of resilience. From gang life to global stages, he's turned adversity into art. After meeting Soulja Boy in jail and signing to S.O.D.M.G., Bino's transformation became the focus of his powerful documentary, Breaking the Generational Curse. His journey is a living example of what it means to rise above the circumstances meant to break you.
"I'm not here because I'm the best," Bino declares. "I'm here because they tried to break me and they couldn't."
With "Keep It Real," Hoodtrophy Bino cements his place as one of LA's most important voices; an artist who carries the pain of his past and the promise of his future in every bar.
Stream "Keep It Real" now on all major platforms and stay tuned for The Invasion dropping this November.

In this new entry in our 'Diamonds In The Rough' category, we would like to introduce you to upcoming artist Quentin Moore and his brand new EP titled Ride With You.
Soul artist Quentin Moore has done it again. With the release of his brand-new EP, Ride With You, Moore invites listeners on a deeply human journey through the landscapes of love, groove, and timeless soul. Out now on all platforms, the five-track collection reimagines classic '70s soul for a new generation, fusing the warmth of live instrumentation with the finesse of modern production.
Every note on Ride With You feels alive. Crafted entirely by hand and recorded with a world-class team of musicians, the EP radiates authenticity and passion from start to finish. It's a project that could only come from Quentin Moore; an artist whose charisma, craftsmanship, and commitment to real music continue to set him apart in today's digital age.
The project opens with "You Look So Good", a burst of radiant joy that channels the spirit of The Spinners and Earth, Wind & Fire. Featuring Bobby Sparks of Snarky Puppy on clavinet and synths, Nigel Newton on vibraphones, and lush orchestration by Olajide Paris recorded in the Republic of Georgia, it's a sonic celebration; sunshine bottled into sound.
The title track, "Ride With You", already making waves as a chart-topper in the UK, keeps the momentum rolling with effortless cool. Co-mixed by GRAMMY® winners Kevin "KD" Davis and Vidal Davis, it's the kind of song built for top-down drives, two-stepping nights, and the feeling of being perfectly in sync with someone who gets you.
On "Kiss Your Lips," Moore slows things down with a lush, seductive ballad inspired by the golden age of soul seduction, think Teddy Pendergrass and Isaac Hayes. With Taron Lockett (Prince, Erykah Badu) on drums and Ray "Uncle Flip" Flippen (The Mac Band) on bass, the track smolders with candlelit intimacy and emotional depth.
"I Can't Believe" turns inward, offering a tender neo-soul confession about finding love when you least expect it. Strings by Olajide Paris, percussion from Frank Moka (Erykah Badu, Durand Bernarr), and Moore's heartfelt vocals intertwine beautifully, capturing the vulnerability and hope of rediscovering connection.
Closing with "Don't Forget Me," Moore delivers a joyful finale that fuses Gap Band funk with Silk Sonic polish. It's a buoyant, feel-good sendoff that celebrates music, love, and the joy of simply being alive.
Recorded across home studios worldwide, Ride With You showcases not just Moore's musical mastery, but his dedication to building something real; every groove, every layer, every harmony crafted with intent. The project features an international ensemble of horns and strings, alongside mixing and engineering by some of the industry's best, including Kevin "KP" Pittman and Andrew Tinker (Cardi B, The Lumineers).
With 13 albums, 50 million video views, sold-out shows in over 30 countries, and even a collaboration with Snoop Dogg, Quentin Moore has long proven that soul music still thrives when it's rooted in authenticity. His unique brand of "Quentinizing" fuses the rawness of vintage soul with the vibrance of today, creating a sound both nostalgic and new.
Through his DIY spirit and fan-powered crowdfunding, raising over $30,000 to date, Moore continues to blur the line between artist and community, showing that independent soul can still shine bright on the global stage.
With Ride With You, Quentin Moore doesn't just revisit soul, he reinvents it for the here and now. It's real music, played by real people, made for real hearts.
