Olandas Truesdale (DjTruzz) was born in Charlotte North Carolina. He has loved music since he was a child and was drawn to the men and women who spin records. When he was a little boy, Olandas loved to spin records in local clubs and dreamed of becoming a famous DJ. As he grew, a local nightclub DJ took notice and started giving him lessons. In 1994 Olandas was ready to display his skills and rebranded himself as DjTruzz.
