Eminem has taken aim at Kanye West on his new collaboration with JID titled "Animals (Pt. 1)". On the track, which is their second hook up after last year's "Fuel", Em wastes no time in mocking his former "Forever" collaborator over some of his recent confessions.
Referencing West's allegedly incestuous relationship with a male cousin, Em spits: "With these magazines, I act out like Ye and his cousin / Little cocksucker, I'm sprayin' and bustin' / Your shit sucks dick, stop sayin' it doesn't / That's probably the reason there's nothin' you've bodied of recent." West has yet to respond to Eminem's taunt.
Earlier this year, Kanye West admitted that he had a sexual relationship with his cousin when they were both underage. In a post to X, he explained: "This song is called COUSIN about my cousin that's locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady a few years after I told him we wouldn't 'look at dirty magazines together' anymore. Perhaps in my self centered mess I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was 6 and then we acted out what we saw."
He continued: "My dad had playboy magazines but the magazines I found in the top of my moms closet were different. My name is Ye and I sucked my cousins dick till I was 14. Tweet sent."
Cam'ron later claimed he was trying to locate the cousin that West was on about. "So Kanye was talking about- he did a record and his cousin's in jail doing life for a murder or something like that," Cam said. "I'm actually trying to find the cousin. I want to interview him, so anybody who knows this cousin that he's talking about and what jail he's in, we're willing to go to the jail to do the interview with the cousin who's been molested [and] doing life right now. "We're actually on the hunt to find him personally at this moment to find out exactly if what Kanye did him lead to him being in this situation right now. 'Cause Kanye said this is potentially why he could be doing life in jail, because he molested his younger cousin."

Released on July 18 through Mass Appeal, the project will have no shortage of guest features.
Unveiling the tracklist for the album, Raekwon will be joined by his Wu-Tang Clan cohorts Ghostface Killah, Method Man and Inspectah Deck as well as Nas. There will also be a Griselda flavor on the album with Conway the Machine and Westside Gunn also featured.
The Emperor's New Clothes will be Raekwon's first solo album since 2017's The Wild.
Rae previously opened up about the Wu-Tang reunited for one more album. Speaking on Instagram Live, he said: "I mean, we tryna get it together, you know? Everybody's spread out. Everybody's doing something great in their life, so when it's time for everybody to get in the room, it just seems like it's the hardest shit in the world. But it ain't like we don't want to." He added: "And then you got so many minds. You throw a beat out and a n-gga be like, 'I like that, I don't like that.' It's hard. It's real hard, but don't count us out. Don't never count us out." Raekwon then turned his attention to his own music, saying: "This next record I'ma do? I'm telling y'all, this next record. I'm gonna announce my next record on Cuban Linx day. August 1, 29-year anniversary. I'm gonna hit y'all the title of the next album.
"This one's gonna fuck y'all n-ggas up. Trust." While the announcement didn't follow as planned, Raekwon is part of a remarkable slate coming from Mass Appeal Records this year. Having already released an album from Slick Rick last month, a collaborative project from Nas and DJ Premier as well as albums from Mobb Deep, Ghostface Killah and De La Soul are also on the docket plus a posthumous LP from Big L. The epic lineup of albums is part of Mass Appeal's "Legend Has It..." series, which it calls "a tribute to the icons who shaped Hip Hop and took it from the streets of NYC to the world."

The WNBA announced that they will be expanding to 18 teams with Detroit as well as Philadelphia and Cleveland getting their own franchises.
The Detroit team will enter the league in 2029 and is primarily backed by Detroit Pistons owner Tom Gores, who said in a statement: "This is a huge win for Detroit and the WNBA. Today marks the long-hoped-for return of the WNBA to a city with deep basketball roots and a championship tradition. Detroit played a key role in the league's early growth, and we're proud to reignite that legacy as the WNBA ascends to new heights. Our plans will bring new energy, investment and infrastructure to our city and the WNBA, and additional resources to our community." He added: "We have brought together an impressive array of investors who reflect the strength and diversity of Detroit. I'm excited about what we can accomplish together to advance women's professional sports and inspire a new generation of fans. I'm grateful to our exceptional investor group, Commissioner Engelbert, and the WNBA for their trust in our vision and commitment to the people of Detroit." It was announced in March that Eminem was part of the ownership group looking to bring a women's basketball team back to Detroit where he joined a number of local sports stars and business people such as Jared Goff and Grant Hill. The rap legend has had a greater presence at Detroit sporting events in recent years, prominently backing the Detroit Lions during their playoff runs over the last two seasons.
He also made a prominent appearance at the NFL Draft last year which was held in Detroit. Em performed a short comedy skit with Lions great Barry Sanders and NFL commissioner Roger Goodell much to the delight of fans. Slim Shady also performed during the Super Bowl halftime show in 2022 alongside Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Mary J. Blige and 50 Cent. The performance was notable for Em taking a knee in a show of solidarity with Colin Kaepernick and his protests against police brutality.
