Some people learn to be a D.J. ..... Hugo H. was born one.......
Hugo H. was playing music before he could read or write his name. By the age of 3, Hugo was amazed by the sounds that came from the round black disc spinning on the record player and quickly learned to identify songs just by looking at the labels. Who would have known that that same music driven toddler had already discovered what he was born to do.
By 18 HUGO H. had developed quite a name for himself, spending every weekend playing sometimes 3 parties in one night. His club gigs included The Playground, the Warehouse and various clubs internationally. In the years since Hugo H. has continued sharing his GOD given gift with millions In clubs around the world, providing mixes, mini-mixes and re-mixes for radio stations in Chicago, New York, Internationally Amsterdam, SG1 Radio, SG1 House and nationally for Jamie Foxx's Foxxhole Radio Siruis/XM 96.
Often referred to as, "THE MUSIC MASTER" for his award winning edits, vinyl collection and re-mixes, HUGO H. is known worldwide for his crystal clear sound and precision. His attention to detail is unsurpassed and respected by many of the djs and producers around the globe.
HUGO H. has collaborated on music with everyone from Marshall Jefferson, Mike Dunn, Lidell Townsell, Tyree Cooper, DJ Pierre, Glenn Underground, Maurice Joshua, Jesse Saunders, Farley Jackmaster Funk and the list goes on. It wasn't until 2013, that HUGO H. FINALLY released his solo project, the underground anthem, "Chante Vs. James" on the Lumberjacks In Hell. Fellow producer Raahan Rah and label owner Marcel Vogel had convinced Hugo H. to release more gems from his personal vault... (That's filled with unreleased material...) What followed were several other hot tracks including, "Let Yourself", "Moments in Dance" and "Wanna Get Next To Me". HUGO H. has also released on Kreative Kontrol Music, "Don't Leave This Love I Got" and "U Wanna" and an EP on More About Music, "On To Another Time". New releases coming in June on Kreative Kontrol Music includes "Peach Acid" and "Dah-Dee-Dah"
