In this new entry in our 'Diamonds In The Rough' category, we would like to introduce you to upcoming artist SobaSmokey and his brand new single titled "Magic".
Emerging from the shadows of late nights and neon city glow, SobaSmokey returns with "Magic"; a hypnotic new single out now. Released on November 14th, the track slips effortlessly between trap and alternative R&B, pulling listeners into a world where confidence meets confession and nothing feels fully real... or fully safe.
Driven by heavy 808s, spacey melodic textures, and vocals that hover between whispered intimacy and quiet unraveling, "Magic" feels both cinematic and deeply personal. It's not polished to perfection,c and that's the point. The raw edges, the emotional cracks, the breath between the lines... it's all part of the spell. SobaSmokey captures the adrenaline of new love, the danger that lingers beneath the surface, and the beauty of surrendering to something you don't yet understand. Beneath the swagger sits something fragile, a tension between desire and vulnerability that keeps echoing long after the track fades out.
For listeners drawn to the late-night worlds of Travis Scott, Don Toliver, The Weeknd's early era, and Bryson Tiller, "Magic" hits that same sweet spot: sensual, atmospheric, and slightly dangerous. It belongs in playlists soundtracking heartbreak, hedonism, neon-lit drives, or love stories whispered under flickering streetlights.
At just 19 years old, SobaSmokey is already shaping his own universe. Born in Toronto and raised in Barcelona, he carries a global perspective woven through every melody, every rhythm. Fluent in English, Russian, French, Spanish, Catalan, and German, he builds songs from a mosaic of cultural influences; a blend of cities, languages, and lived experiences. Music has always been his first language: piano, guitar, self-produced beats, and poems turned into verses long before he could drive.
Influenced by giants like A$AP Rocky, Travis Scott, Don Toliver, The Weeknd, Bryson Tiller, and even jazz legend Oscar Peterson, SobaSmokey calls his sound psychedelic emotion, a fusion of rap, trap, R&B, indie, and rock. With three albums and two EPs already released, he's not chasing flawlessness; he's chasing feeling. His lo-fi textures, experimental choices, and atmospheric worlds are deliberate reflections of mood and honesty.
"Magic" is the next step in his evolution: an echo of everything he's lived, a snapshot of the moment he's in, and a hint of where he's headed next.

In this new entry in our 'Diamonds In The Rough' category, we would like to re-introduce you to frequently featured, upcoming artist HoodTrophy Bino and his brand new single titled "No Way".
Fresh off the momentum of his breakout hit "I Want Her" featuring Kalan.FrFr, and fresh from opening stages for Trippie Redd and Chris Brown, Los Angeles rapper HoodTrophy Bino returns with a powerful new single and video, "No Way," out now.
Where "I Want Her" showcased Bino's melodic finesse, "No Way" cuts straight into the bone. Anchored in a stark moral crossroads, the track revolves around one gut-wrenching proposition: "Sign this deal you rich for life... but you gotta slime your brother out tonight." Bino's answer is unwavering. The hook, "No way, no way", hits like a blood oath, a code of honor spoken from the heart of someone who has lived every consequence of betrayal and loyalty.
Over a haunting, minor-key instrumental lined with bell tones that toll like funeral chimes and 808s that creep with danger, Bino paints a sonic world heavy with choices. Ambient street noise, cars slicing through the night, distant voices on the block, pulls listeners directly into his lived experience: a place where loyalty is currency, survival is a skill, and brotherhood is everything.
"No Way" is the newest look at Bino's upcoming album The Invasion, arriving next month. To celebrate the release, Bino joins Big Sad 1900's tour at the end of November, bringing his signature raw energy to cities across the country.
A Story of Transformation: From Gang Life to Global Stages
HoodTrophy Bino's rise is nothing short of cinematic. His journey, "I'm not here because I'm the best, I'm here because they tried to break me and they couldn't", is a testament to resilience. After meeting Soulja Boy in jail and joining S.O.D.M.G., Bino turned hardship into fuel. His evolution has been chronicled in the acclaimed documentary Breaking the Generational Curse, a gripping look at trauma, redemption, and legacy.
Since then, Bino has stamped his name across stages nationwide. He's toured with Soulja Boy, performed alongside him at Rolling Loud Los Angeles, and opened for major acts like Trippie Redd and Chris Brown. His catalog has grown just as rapidly:
On the Run (2024) HoodTrophy (2024) Chosen Few, featuring the hit "I Want Her", which earned major national airplay (SiriusXM The Heat, Power 106, 96.1 The Beat, Power 105 NY) and placements with SneakerCon, the LA Clippers, and the Rams CBFW, with features from Lefty Gunplay and NoCap Lost In My Heart, his lover-boy album showcasing a softer, romantic side
Bino has been spotlighted by The Breakfast Club, On The Radar, HotNewHipHop, Lyrical Lemonade, No Jumper, and more; all recognizing the raw authenticity that defines his voice.
With The Invasion on the horizon, "No Way" serves as both a warning shot and a promise: HoodTrophy Bino is not bending, not breaking, and not switching up: not for fame, not for money, not for anything.

In this new entry in our 'Diamonds In The Rough' category, we would like to introduce you to upcoming artist Saul Goode and his brand new single titled "Like Like" featuring Musalini.
North Carolina-based rapper Saul Goode lights the fuse for his upcoming album Sebastian, an album by Ryan with the release of "Like Like," a bouncy and infectious hip-hop single that arrived November 14, 2025. Featuring a slick guest verse from Jamla Records' own The Musalini and smooth, rhythm-first production by longtime collaborator Lele (aka Empc), the track stands as a triumphant return for one of the most globally seasoned voices in Southern hip-hop.
A Song Born From Renewal
"Like Like" isn't just the first single from Sebastian; it's the spark that reignited Saul Goode's creative fire.
Recorded during a pivotal afternoon walk, one of the first moments he recalls feeling like himself again after being deported from South Korea and navigating his mother's health battle, the track captures the clarity and surreal calm of that day. Everyday sounds became unexpected instruments: the soft clinking of ice cubes swirling in a latte, the unusually loud birds in his North Carolina neighborhood. Lele weaves these textures into ambient percussion that evokes a vivid Southeast Asian jungle, grounding the song in the contrast between chaos and peace.
The result is a beat that fuses laid-back coastal grooves with bouncy-house energy, pairing Saul Goode's introspective punchlines with The Musalini's classic New York bravado. It's Southern charm meets East Coast cool; an effortless bridge across scenes, countries, and cultures.
A Live Debut at a Local Legend
Fans got their first taste of "Like Like" live on Saturday, November 22, when Saul Goode celebrated the Sebastian rollout at the iconic Cat's Cradle in Carrboro, North Carolina. The night marked a milestone: the debut performance of his new live band, led by his brother TJ Maiani on drums and serving as musical director. The full-band arrangement breathed new life into the song's jungle-inspired textures and dance-ready bounce, signaling the dynamic direction Saul Goode is taking into the album release cycle.
From Seoul to the South-A Journey That Shapes the Music
Saul Goode's path to Sebastian is anything but ordinary.
He first built an international following in Seoul, South Korea, where he formed Part Time Cooks, the first foreign hip-hop act signed to a major Korean label. He later reached the semi-finals of Jay Park's television competition Sign Here, solidifying his status as one of the most respected foreign rappers in the country's scene.
When the pandemic rerouted him back home to Chapel Hill, Saul Goode began rediscovering his voice; this time in English. The result is Sebastian, an introspective, deeply personal body of work produced by e.m.p.c, featuring instrumentation from his jazz-musician brother and father, and elevated by a standout appearance from The Musalini.
Influences Rooted in Soul, Groove, and Introspection
With sonic inspirations ranging from Mac Miller and Anderson .Paak to Little Simz, Erykah Badu, and Nujabes, "Like Like" reflects Saul Goode's signature blend of introspection, groove, and globe-spanning perspective. The single positions him firmly as an artist entering a new era: self-aware, energized, and unafraid to pull beauty from unlikely places.
