  Marian Robinson, mother of former First Lady Michelle Obama, passed away on Friday at the age of 86.

Former President Barack Obama and Michelle announced the news on social media. "She passed peacefully this morning, and right now, none of us are quite sure how exactly we'll move on without her," the family announced in a statement.

"My mom Marian Robinson was my rock, always there for whatever I needed. She was the same steady backstop for our entire family, and we are heartbroken to share she passed away today. We wanted to offer some reflections on her remarkable life," the grieving daughter wrote on X (formerly Twitter).
The former First Family's statement on Medium recalled the life, accomplishments, and enduring wisdom of the beloved White House fixture. Long before Robinson was President Obama's mother-in-law, she was born and raised on the segregated South Side of Chicago with six siblings. She fell in love with and married Fraser Robinson.
The couple raised their children, Craig and Michelle, in a smaller apartment in Chicago's South Shore neighborhood. Robinson worked many years as a secretary. However, she studied education and became her children's first teacher, ensuring they learned to read at an early age.

She encouraged her children to reach for their wildest dreams, including Craig's basketball coaching career, Michelle's Ivy League aspirations to become a lawyer, and her son-in-law's long-shot political ambitions.
"At every step, as our families went down paths none of us could have predicted, she remained our refuge from the storm, keeping our feet on solid ground. On Election Night in 2008, when the news broke that Barack would soon shoulder the weight of the world, she was there, holding his hand," the statement said.

After the 2008 election, Robinson was the new First Family's "rock." She uprooted her life to move into the White House as a support system. Aside from meeting the Pope, she cared more about spoiling her grandchildren and befriending the staff than the parade of VIPs. Since then, she has returned home to her friends and family in Chicago.

"As a mother, she was our backstop, a calm and nonjudgmental witness to our triumphs and stumbles. She was always, always there, welcoming us back home no matter how far we had journeyed, with that deep and abiding love.
For Barack and Kelly, she was the best mother-in-law anyone could hope for. We would tease her sometimes that she'd need to stop thinking that she was "imposing" on us because we always wanted to see more of her, not less.
As a grandmother, at every stage of their lives, from infancy through adulthood, she stood secondary watch over her grandchildren's growth and development, inspiring them, listening to them, telling them she was proud of them, making them feel loved, like they were remarkable in every way.
And as a sister, aunt, cousin, neighbor, and friend to so many, she was beloved beyond words by countless others whose lives were improved by her presence.
We will all miss her greatly, and we wish she were here to offer us some perspective, to mend our heavy hearts with a laugh and a dose of her wisdom.
Yet we are comforted by the understanding that she has returned to the embrace of her loving Fraser, that she's pulled up her TV tray next to his recliner, that they're clinking their highball glasses as she's catching him up with the stories about this wild, beautiful ride. She's missed him so.
"The whole world is full of little Craigs and little Michelles," she'd often remind us, underlining the beauty and potential within every child.
As always, she was right. What is also true - although she adamantly denied it - is that there was and will be only one Marian Robinson. In our sadness, we are lifted up by the extraordinary gift of her life. And we will spend the rest of ours trying to live up to her example."

Social media is ABLAZE after Donald Trump made history as the first U.S. President to be convicted of a felony when he was found guilty on all 34 charges in his now-infamous hush money case.
The freshly-minted felon was found guilty of falsifying documents to cover up hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels ahead of the 2016 election.

Immediately following the verdict, Trump went full delulu while addressing the public (well, mostly his mouth-breathing supporters) in his latest unhinged rant in front of someone's camera.
"I am a very innocent man," he declared. "This was a disgrace," he said. "This was a rigged trial by a conflicted judge who was corrupt."
"The real verdict is going to be Nov. 5 by the people and they know what happened here and everybody knows what happened here," he continued.

Judge Juan Merchan set sentencing for July 11 at 10 a.m. EST. Each of the 34 charges carry a sentence of 4 years in prison.

Trump will undoubtedly appeal the guilty verdict and attempt to delay sentencing well beyond the November 5 election. Additionally, the constitution does not bar felons from becoming POTUS.
President Biden reacted to Donald Trump's conviction for the first time on Friday, notably taking aim at those claiming the case was "rigged."
"That's how the American system of justice works, and it's reckless, it's dangerous, it's irresponsible for anyone to say this was rigged just because they don't like verdict," he said, per ABC News. "Our justice system has endured for nearly 250 years, and it literally is a cornerstone of America. Our justice system should be respected. We should never allow anyone to tear it down. It's as simple as that."

Chanel Ayan will be back on Bravo this Sunday, June 2, flashing her opulence and elegance amid some unfinished business in the oasis.
As previously reported the sophomore season of The Real Housewives Of Dubai will continue to follow Ayan as well as Caroline Stanbury, Caroline Brooks, Lesa Milan, Sara Al Madani, and newbie Taleen Marie as they hash out their issues and navigate a highly exclusive social scene.

Ayan is, of course, part of that scene as a supermodel and entrepreneur through her Ayan Beauty cosmetics line which she told BOSSIP was years in the making with a portion of the proceeds going to survivors of female genital mutilation or "fgm" like herself.
"Honestly, I grew up very, very poor, and as a young girl my mom was always sick, and I always had to be the one providing for the family, so I used to sell bananas in my head, trying to get money, try to hustle," said Ayan. "So I thought, you know what? I have this big platform, like as a model. I used to book models in Dubai and have an agency and I was like, I have this big platform, I need to do something big."
"I gotta be like Kyle Richards rich, she makes so much money in housewives [like] Bethenny Frankel...," she added."So I was like, what am I gonna do? I'm gonna start a makeup line because I love makeup, I love to dress up. I love to use makeup that is colorful," she added. "And then my business partner who I met 15 years ago, the first thing she wrote down about me was "She's dramatic, she talks too much, and she's funny."

She continued,
"So we started to come together and do a makeup line. The good thing about is that proceeds go to Fgm (female genital mutilation) which is something I'm affected by. And that's actually the reason that I started a makeup line to do good, and also to be really rich."
Elsewhere in the convo, the housewife and the activist dished on her (now distant) friendship with Lesa Milan. Milan recently told BOSSIP that she's hopeful that they can make amends despite seemingly feuding over Ayan's new ties to Caroline Stanbury, something Milan denies.

Ayan told BOSSIP's Managing Editor Dani Canada that Lesa has reached out to her and like her (ex?) bestie, she's hopeful that they can eventually get on the same page.

"She has reached out, she reached out for my birthday for my son's birthday and we're not in a place where we used to be right now, because I'm upset. There was just so much love in our relationship like there was so much love. I just feel like I cannot be like, 'Hey, I'm done with you' and throw you away because you're like family to me. And you know, when you guys watch everything like plays out on the show as the season goes on, you guys get to see all of it, and it will make sense."

On the three-minute trap anthem, the Bronx native seemingly took a jab at Bia, scolding her for their internet feud that popped off in March after fans accused the stars of copying each other's music.

In early March, several internet users accused Bia of copying the "Bodak Yellow" emcee after a snippet of Missy Elliott and Timbaland's hit song "She's A B*tch" was featured in her viral freestyle "I'm That B***," which was also used in Cardi's "Like What (Freestyle)" shared at the top of the month.
Bia claimed that the allegations were downright "sick."

Donald Trump is now a convicted felon.
CNBC is reporting that 53% of white women's president has been found guilty on all 34 charges in his trail relating to the hush money that he paid adult film star Stormy Daniels back in 2016. Trump was accused of falsifying his business records in order to pay former lawyer Michael Cohen $130,000 which would be transferred to Daniels for her silence about their previous sordid affair.

Judge Juan Merchan has set sentencing for July 11 at 10 a.m. EST. The charges against Trump are classified as E class felonies and each of the 34 charges carry a sentence of 4 years in prison. If you're doing the math, that equals 136 years in prison. That said, it is very unlikely that he will be wearing an orange jumpsuit and white flip flops anytime soon if ever. Trump will undoubtedly appeal the guilty verdict and that appeals process will take months, well past the November 5 election. Additionally, the constitution does not bar felons from becoming POTUS.
