Shaq, Barkley preparing to return to 'cold-ass Minnesota'

It'll be 78 degrees on Thursday.

Despite proclaiming Minneapolis as a "great city" as recently as Friday, it seems a few days in Dallas was enough to put Charles Barkley and Shaquille O'Neal off a return to Minnesota.

During the Timberwolves' 105-100 victory over the Mavericks in the Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals, the Inside the NBA pair were expressing reluctance at a return to "cold-ass Minnesota," as Shaq described it.

Usher is still at the top of his game, as BET has announced him as their 2024 Lifetime Achievement Award recipient.

The coveted honor celebrates "industry pioneers who have powerfully shifted culture and the entertainment industry." Previous recipients include Whitney Houston, Prince, Queen Latifah, Anita Baker, Mary J. Blige, Samuel Jackson, Lionel Richie, and New Edition.
