1 critically injured in shooting on near east side of Indianapolis

INDIANAPOLIS - A person was critically injured in a shooting on the near east side of Indianapolis Wednesday night.




According to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department, officers were called to the 300 block of North Temple Avenue around 7:38 p.m. to investigate a shooting. When police arrived at the scene, they located a victim with injuries consistent with gunshot wounds.




IMPD has confirmed that, as of 7:48 p.m. Wednesday, the victim was in critical condition.
