Brownsburg police arrest man accused of stabbing roommate multiple times
BROWNSBURG, Ind. -- Brownsburg police have arrested a man accused of stabbing his roommate multiple times following a dispute on Monday.
Officers with the Brownsburg Police Department were dispatched on April 7 around 5:06 a.m. to Hendricks Regional Hospital, located at 5492 N. Ronald Reagan Parkway, in response to a person stabbed run.
Officers arrived and spoke with the victim, who reportedly told them that his roommate, identified by police as 20-year-old Jose Guadalupe Mendoza Zezorita, had allegedly stabbed him several times after an "altercation" earlier that morning. The victim was last reported to be in "critical but stable" condition, according to BPD.
BPD said detectives arrested Zezorita and transported him to the Hendricks County Jail, where he was preliminarily charged with Aggravated Battery (Level 3 Felony) and Battery with a Deadly Weapon (Level 5 Felony).
