IMPD: Bicyclist dies in crash with motorcycle

INDIANAPOLIS - A bicyclist has died following a collision with a motorcycle on Indy's near southeast side Thursday night.




Officers from the Indianapolis Metro Police Department Southeast District were called around 5 p.m. to the intersection of East Troy Avenue and Tindall Street on the report of a personal vehicle crash with injuries, IMPD wrote.




When officers arrived, they discovered that a motorcycle and a bicycle had collided. Both of the vehicles' drivers were transported to an area hospital.




Shortly thereafter, IMPD said the bicyclist was pronounced dead. The motorcyclist is currently listed as awake and breathing.




The conditions leading up to the crash were not provided.
