
INDIANAPOLIS - The Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department is searching for a missing 86-year-old.
According to a press release, Willie Griffin was last seen in the 1600 block of Capitol Avenue on Wednesday. He was wearing a black leather jacket with fur on the collar, beige pants and a blue baseball cap at the time of his disappearance.
Police described Griffin as a 5-foot-9, 195-pound, gray-haired, brown-eyed man. IMPD also indicated that Griffin may currently be in need of medical attention.
Police are asking anyone who locates Griffin to call 911 immediately. Those with other information on his whereabouts are encouraged to call the IMPD Missing Persons Unit at (317) 327-6160.
