Back for a second year after a very successful first year
StarMakers and Big Heff presents the Music Over Violence Experience and Survivors of Violence Basketball Game and Concert May. This the second annual Music Over Violence Experience (M.O.V.E.) teen summit.
Quincy "Big Heff" Taylor is the VP of the Nerve Djs as well as the Midwest Rep for Def Jam records, amongst other things. Big Heff also developed the Believeland Stop The Violence Seminars and QTime a school program that teaches empowerment and career paths to high school students who are interested in the music industry.

The purpose of the two days of events is to change the ideas of violent messages in music and encourage the youth to participate in positive activities. This years'' participants will include Cleveland City Schools, Cleveland Peace Alliance and City Council Ward 7 of Cleveland to name a few. Last year''s summit was covered by WKYC CH.3 and WOIO CH.19.
The summit will include several panel discussions with a special program with national recording artists holding a music seminar with Notes for Notes on educating the youth about the music business. Panel discussions include: Opportunities for Our Youth, Technology and Social Media, Depression and Anxiety and Healing Our Community. Special guests include: Men at Large, Levert 2, Ripp Flamez, Shuicide Holla, The Rude Boys and many others.
