'Compton's Boogie, often shorten to Boogie, has officially cemented a partnership with Enimen and Shady Records. Before this deal, the rapper already had a distribution deal with Interscope, a long time distributor for Shady Records.
The big news came on the heels of Tuesday evening's Shady Records cypher at the BET Awards, which fans claimed Eminem delivered a verbal onslaught towards President Trump.
Prior to this signing, Boogie was already known for his powerful lyrics and evocative imagery such as in his gripping music video "Nigga Needs", which depicts the young rapper in various stages of distress while on display at a museum. The rapper's management is with Love Renaissance, a management agency which first handled notable musician Raury.
The outpour of love and support for Boogie has been remarkable.
Alongside Boogie as new artists are Westside Gunn and Conway's Griselda Records. Eminem himself is slated to release his 9th studio album on November 17th. In the meantime, if you haven't already, do yourself a favor and get into Boogie.
