Bill de Blasio Says New York to "Fully Reopen" at Beginning of July 2021

New York City mayor Bill de Blasio recently revealed that New York City is preparing to "come back" after restrictions were previously set in place due to COVID-19. While on MSNBC's 'Morning Joe,' de Blasio gave details as to how New York City plans to move forward with their re-opening.
De Blasio went on to say "We're ready to come back and come back strong." He continued saying, "We are ready for stores to open, for businesses to open, offices, theaters, full-strength." De Blasio noted the vaccination rate was rising, and that there have been fewer hospitalizations, which is why the city is pushing for a Summer re-opening.
Along with that, de Blasio noted that theaters are set to re-open in September 2021 due to the time need to mount a full production that adheres to COVID-19 safety guidelines. Stay tuned for more updates.
