In a radio interview on Wednesday, Bill Cosby said that he is preparing to make a comeback in 2023.
When asked if he would return to comedy in the upcoming year by "WGH Talk" host Scott Spears, the infamous comedian responded, "yes."
In April 2018, the 85-year-old was found guilty of criminal sexual assault after 60 women came forward. He was then convicted in Pennsylvania of drugging and physically assaulting Andrea Constand in his Philadelphia home in 2004.
Cosby was released from prison in 2021 after The Pennsylvania State Supreme Court overturned his conviction.
"When I come out of this, I feel that I will be able to perform and be the Bill Cosby that my audience knows me to be," Cosby said, adding that there is "so much fun to be had in this storytelling that I do."
According to Cosby's rep, Andrew Wyatt, the comedian is "looking at spring/summer to start touring."
