Early Friday, Kanye West, who now goes by Ye, took to Twitter to address Drake's lyrics on "Circo Loco," claiming to have "gave this man his flowers multiple times."
The song in question features an obvious reference by Drake about the rappers' Free Larry Hoover Benefit Concert, where they joined forces and ended their feud.
"Linking with the opps, bitch, I did that shit for J Prince Bitch, I did it for the mob ties," the OVO frontman rapped.
"Enough already. I done gave this man his flowers multiple times," Ye wrote in response. "Let's really see who are real ops are in this music game. Imagine all the rappers on the same side and everyone cleaning up each other's contracts. It's kingdom time. Love Drake."
Earlier this summer, Larry Hoover Jr. and J Prince discussed the bigger plan behind Ye and Drake putting aside their differences, explaining that the gesture would serve as a model for other artists to follow.
"We put our efforts there and brought 'em together hoping that it would be a blueprint for the other artists to try to follow to look and see, like, if these guys can bring it together and put they differences aside and make money and enjoy life, maybe some other people will follow suit," he said.
So far, Drake and 21 Savage's album Her Loss has received much criticism from fans who noticed that the rapper took shots at Megan Thee Stallion, Serena Williams' husband and Cha-Cha singer DRAM.
