Rapper Bris Shot Dead In Sacramento Near Car Crash Site: Report

Back in April, Bris was featured on Pitchfork after he released his track "First 42 Hours Freestyle." The Sacramento rapper had dreams of rap-star success, but they, unfortunately, will never come to fruition. It's been reported by The Sacramento Bee that Bris was gunned down in the southern area of the city on Father's Day, June 21.
There isn't much known about the shooting, as police haven't shared too many details with the public. The Sacramento Bee states that the Sacramento Police Department did issue a news release where they say dispatch received a call at 12:42 a.m. that there were shots fired near Franklin Boulevard and Fruitridge Road. When they arrived, they reportedly found Bris with a "life-threatening gunshot wound," and when first responders arrived, they pronounced the rapper dead.
Police are asking the public for help in locating the shooter or shooters involved. Investigators state that Bris was found near the site of a single-vehicle crash, but it's unclear if Bris was driving the vehicle at the time that he was shot. The rapper, who was reportedly in his 20s, is being remembered by friends and fans on his social media pages. We send our sincerest condolences to his loved on during this time. Check out some of his music below.
