SOULJA BOY ORDERED TO PAY $10M IN DAMAGES OVER SEXUAL BATTERY LAWSUIT

Soulja Boy has been ordered to pay $10 million in damages to a former partner who accused him of sexual battery.

In 2021, an anonymous lawsuit was filed against the "Crank That" rapper by an ex-girlfriend accusing him of sexual battery and assault as well as emotional distress.

According to The Blast, Soulja Boy (real name DeAndre Way) has now been ordered to pay the woman identified only as Jane Doe $10 million, which includes $5 million in pain, suffering and inconvenience and $5 million for causing emotional distress.

In the lawsuit, the woman made a number of claims about Soulja Boy, including that he once allegedly beat her so severely that she miscarried their child.

"During their conversation, (Way) began to punch (Doe) in the face and chest, until she could no longer stand on her feet," the lawsuit read. "Soon thereafter, (Doe) suffered a miscarriage and was unable to carry her pregnancy into full term."

The woman claimed she and the rapper were in an on and off relationship from 2007 to 2019, when she says she left the rapper because of the "constant abuse."

Her attorney Neama Rahmani told USA TODAY, "It took her years to escape the psychological and physical grasp of her abuser."

Soulja Boy has yet comment on the outcome of the lawsuit.

The rapper was previously sued by a former personal assistant for allegedly raping her repeatedly.

Soulja Boy denied the claims through a representative who said: "He wouldn't beat a woman or put his hands on a woman ... this is nonsense."

He was also recently ordered to pay an ex-girlfriend hundreds of thousands of dollars after she accused him of assault and kidnapping.

Court documents show that the jury awarded Kayla Meyers $1,800 for "mental health expenses" and another $234,100 for "physical and mental pain and suffering," bringing the grand total to $235,900. Additionally, the jury found that Soulja had engaged in "malice, oppression or fraud."

Soulja Boy denied causing injury to Meyers and said they were caused by a third party.

Soulja Boy allegedly held a gun to her head as he instructed an assistant to tie her up and shower her clean. She claimed he said he would let her go if she performed oral sex on him which she did.
