GQ Magazine Name Their Men And Woman Of The Year

What do a late night talk show host, a top Hollywood actress, a basketball superstar and a social justice craving quarterback have in common? They will all grace the cover of GQ magazine's December 2017 issue as the Men (and Woman) of the Year.

Colin Kaepernick is GQ's Citizen of the Year.
While Kap maintains his silent protest, he collaborated with
GQ on a special project: a wide-ranging series of interviews with ten of his closest confidants and supporters-including rapper J. Cole, filmmaker Ava DuVernay, legendary artist Harry Belafonte, and more. Together they explore Colin Kaepernick's actions, provide insight into his world right now, and explain why there's more work to be done.

Stephen Colbert is GQ's Bad Hombre of the Year.
Our nation's "ombudsman of late night" dug deep with us on the notably terrible 2017 we've had, the potential ripple effect of Donald Trump's presidency, his role as an interviewer, and what makes a bad guest (looking at you, Mr. President).

Gal Gadot is GQ's Wonder Woman of the Year.
GQ sent Caity Weaver to the beaches of Israel to visit the superhero incarnate, who spoke about being recognized, egg sandwiches, accents, and putting her Israeli armed forces defense training to work.

Kevin Durant is GQ's Champion of the Year.
Writer Zach Baron went all the way to Delhi, India, to hang with the NBA MVP. Durant sums up the Golden State Warriors' winning season and touches on that game-winning shot, LeBron James, Jay-Z's 4:44, those tweets, and getting heckled by Rihanna.
