My Spiritual Address 2011!

My Spiritual Address 2011:

As I sit back and reflect on my life. I think about things I’ve been through, things I’ve experienced, and things I would like to experience in the coming years.
A very enlightening message caught my attention today. The message spoke about how this gentleman was looking back on his life, his relationship with his father, and his family.

I couldn’t help but think about my own life and how I am so blessed just to be able to see another day. I ask, as the gentleman asked, Why me? Why has God forsaken me? Why has he allowed me to see another day? Be rewarded with another opportunity to experience your blessings?

Now don’t get me wrong, I like so many others, have made mistakes. There are many things that have happened in my life that I truly regret.
One thing is so very true, The bad and unfortunate episodes of my life, I can’t blame anyone but myself. I allowed those things to happen, so I accept full responsibility for the occurrences.

Life has dealt many of us rotten cards from time to time. Many bounce back, recover and move forward with our lives. And then there are those who never recover. They find themselves emotionally beaten, turning to alcohol, and drugs. Mentally and physically destroyed, they end it all with suicide.

I want those individuals who get to the point, when they feel there’s no return, remember you are a child of God, and he loves you and continues to bless you daily.
Now there are times in my life when I look back and just ask, Why me? I am not worthy! Just as God has punished me and scolded me, he has also blessed me and allowed me to experience opportunities that many people only dream about.

If you will take an opportunity to reflect on your life, and think about the things you would like to experience, and enjoy in your life.

Write them down and ask God to bless you with those goals.

I want you to take time to look back on your life and remember the many situations that have plagued your life in a negative way, write them down and one by one ask God to remove those evil and hurtful memories from your life.

Think about what you would love to experience and ask God to bless you with that prayer request. Take time to repent, and ask for forgiveness for all of the negative ness and life experiences that have caused you to turn left when you should have turned right!

In closing, remember, You are a child of God and Yes, You are worthy!
