Happy Sunday TatorTots! I hope you guys had a great weekend, and that today was nothing but phenomenal. I know for the fellas, Sundays are always great because you guys look forward to football Sunday. As for us women, we may have our Sunday night shows we look forward to, but for me this Sunday was meditation. I woke up in such great spirits! I started my day off editing my #LifeWithTateana Vlog, then listened to Pastor John Gray "The Purpose Behind the pain" sermon, and that made me feel even more great. It taught me no matter what pain I may be going through at this given moment, it's a purpose! Cherish the pain and most importantly learn from it. We all may be going through something right now that can cause us to stress, no matter if it's struggling with bills, hard to keep food in your house, unemployment, relationship problems, etc..its a purpose behind our struggle. What matters is what you do with that struggle. Do you go to alcohol? Do you smoke? Do you keep an attitude? Do you pray? Do you write your goals down? Do you keep the faith that everything will be Ok? Whatever you do make sure it grows you. We can't beat ourselves up when things go wrong, we have to take something positive from every situation. This weekend I decided to do things differently. After listening to Les Brown "commit to yourself" he says "change a habit that works against you". One habit of mine is being on Facebook all damn day. Just scrolling, and Scrolling, and wasting nothing but time. Time where I can be doing something beneficial. So I decided to delete the app from my phone and see what else I can do with my time. I went to Barnes and Noble last night and purchased Charlamagne Tha God "Black Privilege" which is really good so far. I found myself being more focus and feeling more positive. Charlamagne states" In order to change your life for the better first you must change your lifestyle". That quote really stuck out to me. We want change, and want success but what are we doing to get it? Being on Facebook all day won't answer that question. Being on Facebook won't even get you noticed if your looking into being a succesful entrepreneur. I decided to dedicate my time with things that's going to help me grow, things that can stimulate my mind, things that will motivate me to be a better me. I encourage you all to write down one habit you hate about yourself and try to commit to changing it. Ask yourself " do this works against me, and what can I do to change it"... come up with one way you can change it. If you can't commit to yourself you have no right expecting others to commit to you.. change starts NOW!!!!
