Snoop Dogg's Daughter Cori Broadus Confronts Online Hate She Receives Over Her Appearance: Y'all Are So Miserable
Snoop Dogg's daughter is confronting social media trolls who have negative things to say about how she looks.
Cori Broadus shared a message she received from a social media user yesterday (July 12th) that reads,
"Tummy tuck and breast reduction hunni u have the money"
Cori Broadus added her own thoughts on her IG stories and wrote,
"like what y'all b so miserable on here"
She then flaunted her physique in another story and wrote,
"Like I don't know what I'm suppose to do my s*** just big as f*** y'all be annoying on here, oh she 2 big oh she 2 skinny oh she this oh she that.. embrace what you got and shut the f*** up."
She ended with one last message,
"A b**** is scared to get any type of surgery so f*** outta here"
Her posts come after she opened up about her childhood and spread mental health awareness in May. She said on Instagram,
"Just because my dad is who he is, that doesn't mean I don't get sad. That doesn't mean I don't want things or I don't feel a way"
Cori then discusses how her childhood experiences with sickness and colorism contributed to her negative self-image and depression, claiming:
"I think it starts from my childhood. I grew up with two light-skinned brothers...I was the only chocolate one. I was overweight, I got lupus at six... And that just automatically just messed with my health. I've always been sad, I've always been depressed, 'cause I feel like I've just been through a lot. Like, as far as my sickness and not knowing if it was cancer or if it was lupus and then finding out it was lupus [at six years old]."
"When I first got lupus my face used to peel and my hair was falling out, and even just me being dark like people looked at me like I was an alien, like I was a monster."
She said by the time she became a teenager, she no longer wanted to live.
"At 13 I was ready to die. Like, just so sad crying to my mom like 'Mom, I'm so ugly. Why did you have me? Why do I look like this? Why don't I look like my brothers? Why?... I hated everything about me."
She concluded by saying,
"Just because you have money, and just because you're able to do certain things that people can't doesn't mean that you don't have a heart, you don't have a mind, you don't have a soul. I go through it just like everybody else."
