What's Ike Ellis been up to these days?

IKE ELLIS, is shooting videos, completing the album, building networks with the right individuals to propel the career in the right direction. I also did a one day basketball camp for the kids of my community "Woodside" North Carolina recently.

A lot of people have been feeling your latest single "Shake Ya Body", for those that haven't heard the joint yet how would you describe it to them?

High energy, international bounce to introduce IKE ELLIS to the world, the ladies, and the club. Many listeners has criticized the song due to the change of style, but it's to bum rush the industry, so the haters can actually listen to what I really want to talk about eventually.



Do you plan to shoot a video for that single, showing pretty video vixen's shaking their body for the camera?

Yes definitely going to shoot a video, but do not want to be typical or cliche with the video concept, so we are working hard on coming up with a video concept for the shoot, I want it tasteful.



What's the status of your forthcoming album Cornbread?
It's coming, but everything thing has to be done with a strategic plan in mind, therefor we drop a mix tape before called #pleaseRewind that's burning the streets up right now. The internet going crazy, I think the numbers from Dat piff was like 4,000 downloads, which is amazing considering the circumstance. The "good good" video is also booming at about 1500 plays in 2 weeks. Real plays, but the Cornbread album is on the way.
