JPMorgan Chase's Renée Horne Talks Career, Finances and Achieving Success

For this Women's History Month, we spoke with Renée Horne, Chief Marketing & Experience Officer, Chase Auto, based in Dallas-Fort Worth, to discuss her career journey, share tips on taking charge of your finances and other recommendations to achieving success.

The actress will also receive a Doctor of Fine Arts honorary degree

Angela Bassett is headed to Atlanta. On Thursday (April 25), Spelman College announced the acclaimed actress as its keynote speaker for the institution's 137th commencement ceremony. Additionally, the 65-year-old will receive an honorary Doctor of Fine Arts degree.

According to a press statement, the Spelman College Class of 2024 includes 504 degree candidates, receiving 325 Bachelor of Arts and 179 Bachelor of Science degrees.... Read more

The Strength Of A Woman Festival and Summit takes place in New York for the first time this year.

The Queen of Hip-Hop Soul and Pepsi have extended their partnership for the Pepsi x Mary J. Blige Strength of a Woman Community Fund, providing $100,000 available as grants to local organizations whose work elevates and educates underserved women in Yonkers.  

The effort comes as the beverage company returns as a co-presenting partner of MJB's annual Strength of a Woman Festival and Summit, which is set to take place in New York this year for the first time in May.... Read more

MINNEAPOLIS (FOX 9) - The Minnesota Timberwolves are moving on in the Western Conference Playoffs after a four-game sweep of the Phoenix Suns in a 122-116 victory Sunday night, with Anthony Edwards putting together a human highlight reel in the fourth quarter.

The Minneapolis City Council voted unanimously on April 11 to delay the start of its new rideshare ordinance by two months.

Instead of going into effect on May 1, the new start date is slated for July 1, giving the council more time to consider possible amendments to the law and giving new rideshare providers more time to set up.

Councilmember Aurin Chowdhury said four rideshare startups have submitted applications for licensing as of April 10 to replace Uber and Lyft if they depart.... Read more

Minnesota audiences have long made Stokley Williams a favorite as a solo artist, songwriter, producer, drummer, and lead singer of the legendary R&B group Mint Condition.
