Can an athlete really make it in this music business?

T-Will Biography

On January 20 the first chapter of the book was written. Travis Williams, aka T-Mill, began his drive towards destiny in the dirt road streets of Columbia, SC. He did not waste any time becoming a hot topic in the community, creating the triumphant life story that he is eager to tell the world.
Growing up in the Saxon Homes Projects, T-Will could rarely find stability as a child. After his parents' divorce at the age of 12 and an unexpected move to a nearby trailer park, he was forced into becoming a man sooner than expected. T-Will became no stranger to responsibility and hard work as he helped raise his two younger brothers until high school.

T-Will's character and determination evolved from him overcoming what some call the "typical African American struggle." Others would soon discover that there was nothing typical about T-Will. It was time for him to begin embarking on his dreams.

After years of playing football, T-Will was offered an athletic scholarship to Auburn University in 2001. He was the first person in his family to attend college. T-Will attended Auburn from 2001 to 2005, obtaining a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a minor in Adult Education. His hard work on the field made him one of Auburn's most outstanding linebackers. Some of his recognitions include being named First Team All-SEC in 2004 and 2005, Honorable Mention All-American in 2004, and receiving the Pat Dye Leadership Award in 2004 and 2005. In addition to this, T-will helped lead Auburn to an undefeated season in 2004, having the nation's number one defense, and winning the SEC Championship. Although he had a small frame, only weighing 213 lbs., he left a big mark with 297 tackles in 3 years of starting on the field. T-Will continually thanked God for all of his blessings at his home away from home in Auburn, AL. He also never forgot to give respect to the city that bred him into the determined man he is today.

T-Will went on to play in the NFL for the Atlanta Falcons from 2006 to 2008. He was pushed into shortening his career after having three herniated discs in his back. The fighter in T-Will knew that the end of one chapter was not the end of the story.

Hidden behind the born athlete was a poet and song writer. T-Will had started writing poetry at the age of nine. After years of independ
