Pitbull announced on Instagram on Tuesday (Feb. 17) that he will attempt to break a Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people wearing bald caps during his BST Hyde Park headlining performance in London on July 10. The record attempt stems from a growing trend of fans attending Pitbull concerts dressed as "Mr. Worldwide" by sporting bald caps, aviators, and fitted suit jackets. BBC Radio 1 Breakfast host Greg James championed the world record idea, prompting organizers to move forward with the plan. "Let me tell you how I feel about all the bald-e's that's gonna be putting it down," Pitbull said in a statement. "I just wanna let y'all know that every time you put on that bald cap, you know you're about to have the time of your lives." No current record holder exists for this category according to the Guinness World Records database. Event organizers will provide participation details closer to the concert date.
