GUNNA ANNOUNCES NEW ALBUM 'ONE OF WUN'

Gunna is gearing up for his next big move, as he has announced his plans to drop his fifth studio album soon.

On Monday (April 15), the 30-year-old revealed the cover art of his next project, One of Wun: a painting by artist Calvin Clausell Jr. of the rapper with his face covered in a blue-and-white floral fabric.

While no further details about the release date have been released thus far, the YSL rapper captioned an Instagram post revealing the artwork: "ONE OF WUN | ALBUM OTW."

Gunna has already kickstarted the rollout for the new album with with two new singles.

In February, he dropped "Bittersweet," on which he seemingly extends an olive branch to his former Drip Harder collaborator Lil Baby, with whom he had been trading shots in past months.

"You my dawg, I don't care if we fall out, I never could diss you," he spits early on in the song, which marked his first offering since his 2023 album A Gift & A Curse.

A month later, he once again fired back at allegations of being a snitch on a new collaboration with Offset titled "Prada Dem." On the track, which hit streaming services in mid-March, the Atlanta rapper spits: "I set the trend, I'm a trendsetter/ I'm not a rat, still gettin' cheddar."

Gunna has been batting off accusations of being disloyal ever since he took a plea deal in the RICO case against his and Young Thug's YSL collective back in December 2022.

The "fukumean" hitmaker entered into an Alford plea, meaning he pled guilty to a single racketeering conspiracy charge while maintaining his innocence on that same charge as a form of self-preservation.

He was also subsequently released from jail while Thugga, who is currently on trial, remained behind bars without bond.

Following his plea deal, he said: "While I have agreed to always be truthful, I want to make it perfectly clear that I have NOT made any statements, have NOT been interviewed, have NOT cooperated, have NOT agreed to testify or be a witness for or against any party in the case and have absolutely NO intention of being involved in the trial process in any way."

He also addressed Young Thug directly on "I Was Just Thinking" last year and rapped: "That's four walls talkin' to you, tellin' you you gone/ Only I done cri d, 'cause this feelin' for my bro (King Slime)/ And you know my mind, you done watched that n-gga grow/ I know you hear the lies, it's your lil' brother, my folk/ Yeah, I had popped out, but don't let 'em say I told."
