Gunna is gearing up for his next big move, as he has announced his plans to drop his fifth studio album soon.

On Monday (April 15), the 30-year-old revealed the cover art of his next project, One of Wun: a painting by artist Calvin Clausell Jr. of the rapper with his face covered in a blue-and-white floral fabric.

While no further details about the release date have been released thus far, the YSL rapper captioned an Instagram post revealing the artwork: "ONE OF WUN | ALBUM OTW."

Gunna has already kickstarted the rollout for the new album with with two new singles.

In February, he dropped "Bittersweet," on which he seemingly extends an olive branch to his former Drip Harder collaborator Lil Baby, with whom he had been trading shots in past months.

"You my dawg, I don't care if we fall out, I never could diss you," he spits early on in the song, which marked his first offering since his 2023 album A Gift & A Curse.

A month later, he once again fired back at allegations of being a snitch on a new collaboration with Offset titled "Prada Dem." On the track, which hit streaming services in mid-March, the Atlanta rapper spits: "I set the trend, I'm a trendsetter/ I'm not a rat, still gettin' cheddar."

Gunna has been batting off accusations of being disloyal ever since he took a plea deal in the RICO case against his and Young Thug's YSL collective back in December 2022.

The "fukumean" hitmaker entered into an Alford plea, meaning he pled guilty to a single racketeering conspiracy charge while maintaining his innocence on that same charge as a form of self-preservation.

He was also subsequently released from jail while Thugga, who is currently on trial, remained behind bars without bond.

Pusha T's 2018 diss track aimed at Drake is arguably one of the most brutal attacks in Hip Hop history, so he is reportedly not too invested in the Canadian superstar's ongoing beefs with Kendrick Lamar's cohort.

In a clip from the Joe Budden Podcast that began circulating online on Tuesday (April 16), co-host Ice revealed that the Clipse MC doesn't plan on getting involved in the turmoil, as he already has a win over Drizzy with "The Story of Adidon."

Budden began by pointing out the risks the 6 God took by mentioning K.Dot's wife on his latest track, recalling how viciously the Daytona rapper hit back at for Drake doing that to him a few years back. To that point, Budden said that Drizzy even including the word "push" in the song's title ["Push Ups (Drop & Give Me 50)"] was bold considering his past with Pusha.

Ice, however, said none of those minor details really matter to the Virginia native.

"I talked to Push [for] about two hours Saturday - just laughing, just laughing," he said. "He ain't thinking about this shit, bruh. He's laughing; he got his already."

In tune with the above claim, the 46-year-old MC recently laughed off Drizzy's current feuds quite publicly.

"I just wanted to point out that after all these years of mob talk from Drake, nobody ever laid a finger on @PUSHA_T," a person wrote on Twitter earlier this month, to which the Grammy nominee replied: "Not a pinky nail... [crying face emoji]."

Cardi B and Sexyy Red have been named as part of an all-star lineup for the BET Experience, which is set to take place this summer.

The network's official website made the announcement about the lineup on Monday (April 15), wherein they revealed that the BET Experience will take place from June 26 to June 28, 2024.

In addition to having a full comedy lineup featuring performances from Michael Blackson and Tiffany Haddish, the two female rappers will join the likes of Davido, Gunna, The Roots, Common, Queen Latifah, and the Jungle Brothers for musical performances.

Cardi B and Sexyy Red seem to have a mutual respect.

Back in December, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper was seen twerking in a black bodysuit to Sexyy Red's smash track, "Bow Bow Bow (F My Baby Dad)."

At one point, the "Bodak Yellow" rapper looks back at the camera, smiles, and sticks her middle finger his in the air while yelling, "fuck my baby dad!" The unidentified camera person can be then heard saying, "you heard her!"

They also were the victims of near-identical AI scams back in November.

A tweet shared by user NateRuns on November 21 revealed that a digitized version of the St. Louis native's voice had been used to advertise "free money" - wherein the would-be Sexyy Red claims that "the government be handin' out stacks to y'all," in what appears to be a stimulus check scam.

"Ummm does sexyy red know a company is using her voice to steal peoples info???" he wrote.

Sexyy Red quote-tweeted the video and wrote, "My lawyer bout to have a field day."

Cardi B made legal threats of her own after spotting a video which featured an AI-generated version of the "Bodak Yellow" rapper's voice saying nearly the same thing as the AI-generated version of Sexyy Red's voice.

Taking to X (formerly known as Twitter) on November 22, Bardi shared the clip which dubs her fake voice over a real video of her.

YG and boxer Devin Haney have shared the sole reason they attended Diddy's parties, though one was noticeably more comfortable with the conversation than the other.

In an episode of the 4HUNNID PODCAST that aired on Wednesday (April 10), the two-weight world champion explained why he was attracted to the fabled events, and was also asked to speak on his upcoming opponent, Ryan Garcia, rocking a t-shirt that featured a photo of Diddy and Haney posing shirtless together.

He said: "Diddy had a bunch of hoes at the house, I made my way to the house...Man there's hoes everywhere, and we know that Diddy got some parties."

YG's co-host Stevie again brought up the t-shirt, and the 4HUNNID CEO immediately tried to deescalate the situation, saying: "Man, that's gonna be a good fight."

Haney then asked the rapper if he had been to a Diddy party, and YG confirmed that he had. "I be there with the bitches and all that," he said.

YG and his 4HUNNID label have been making moves in the music space as well.

Earlier this month, the label announced a new venture with BMG, effectively ending his previous deal with Epic Records.

In a statement to Billboard, the Cali native revealed that the deal was "officially official."

Polo G (real name Taurus Bartlett) has landed in trouble again after being caught in possession of an automatic weapon while he was visiting the East Coast.
On Thursday (April 11), New York Post reported that the 25-year-old rapper has been arraigned on charges of criminal possession of a firearm as well as criminal possession of a weapon in the Manhattan Criminal Court.

The issue stems from a stay at the Dominick Hotel in the Lower Manhattan neighborhood of SoHo, during which a maid found a loaded Glock with 10 bullets in his room. Authorities were subsequently alerted about the piece.

"This man is 100% serious in terms of his work, in terms of his professionalism," the Chicago native's attorney said while making a case for him being spared from bail. "He has absolutely no incentive to flee because he has a career he's built."

Contrarily, prosecutors argued that the "Finer Things" hitmaker is at flight risk given his past criminal record, which includes arrests for kidnapping, assault and robbery. Judge Kevin McGrath ultimately settled on a cash bail for $25,000 and set a court date for June 4.

Last year, Polo G was arrested for gun possession following a raid on his Southern California home, for which he was booked in late August along with his brother Trench Baby, who was hit with a robbery charge.

The Los Angeles Police Department told TMZ that the raid was in response to a previous report that alleged Baby robbed a man in Granada Hills during a music video shoot.

Baby Tate is addressing the critics who have accused her of copying the likes of Nicki Minaj and Lil Kim in the past.

In her new freestyle with On The Radar, published on Wednesday (April 10), Tate clarified that she has been inspired by the two legendary rappers, among others - as she was born in 1996.

Nicki Minaj's father was tragically killed in 2021, and his killer now wants the MC to be deposed in a $150 million lawsuit.

According to an exclusive report published by RadarOnline on Tuesday (April 9), Charles Polevich has asked for the court's permission to depose the rapper as part of the wrongful death lawsuit that Minaj's mother filed against him as he was driving the car that killed Robert Maraj.

He wants the"Super Bass" hitmaker to take the stand in relation to claims she has made about her childhood and her father being abusive to her mother.

In a newly filed motion, Polevich's lawyer said Carol Maraj was recently deposed over the course of two days, most recently on December 15, 2023.

About it, he said: "The deposition involves questions wherein the issue of domestic abuse is discussed. [Carol] acknowledges that statements related to the topic of domestic abuse were made...but [Carol] does not offer meaningful responses regarding the veracity of the statements made."

Nicki's father was killed in a hit-and-run a little over three years ago, following which Polevich was sentenced to one year in prison by Judge Howard Sturiun in Nassau County, New York.

He previously pled guilty to a pair of felonies - leaving the scene of an incident without reporting it and tampering with physical evidence - and had his license suspended for six months. Additionally,he had to pay a $5,000 fine.

The 72-year-old was initially facing a maximum of seven years in jail, but the judge stood by his promise of sentencing him to one year behind bars.

Maraj was struck by a vehicle on Long Island on February 12, 2021 while walking northbound between Roslyn Road and Raff Avenue. He was rushed to a hospital in critical condition but succumbed to his injuries. He was 64 years old at the time of his passing.

The driver fled the scene and eventually surrendered to Nassau County Police three days later after law enforcement found the car in question with an altered appearance.

J. Cole's controversial apology to Kendrick Lamar has drawn strong responses from around the Hip Hop community - and a few in particular have irked the rapper's Dreamville camp.

In an outspoken post on X on Tuesday (April 9), longtime signee Omen took issue with artists who appeared on the label's chart-topping compilation album Revenge of the Dreamers III criticizing Cole's olive branch.

"Watching all the opportunist that benefited from the ROTD3 stimulus package switch up is really entertaining. Keep that energy in person," the rapper/producer wrote.

That sentiment was echoed by Bas, who shared a screenshot of a text message that read: "I've been told y'all n-ggas we the only family we got... but n-ggas always want to let the kids from across the street swim in our pool until they take a shit in it."

He captioned the image: "the pool's closed," seemingly indicating that Dreamville would be cutting ties with those who have been critical of its founder and flagship star.

While neither Omen nor Bas mentioned specific names, a handful of artists who contributed to ROTD 3 have been vocal in their disappointment over J. Cole's apology.

Guapdad 4000, who appeared on five tracks across the standard and deluxe versions, wrote on X: "Well that just bummed me out , it's just rap man."

He added: "Cole def just killed my spirit... but it's his happiness not mine , it's selfish to think other wise but I'm just a fan at the end of the day. If rap is not competitive I don't want to do it anymore."

Reason, who is signed to Kendrick Lamar's former label Top Dawg Entertainment and has worked with several Dreamville artists, also expressed his bemusement: "Idk man, I just....idk."

Meanwhile, fellow West Coast rapper Buddy made light of Cole's U-turn by retweeting a video of him Crip Walking while celebrating a Mortal Kombat-style victory which was captioned: "Kendrick Lamar in Compton after hearing Jcole Apoligized [sic] to him."


Guapdad later addressed the controversy and denied Omen and Bas' tweets were aimed at him.

"Gang not talking about me , y'all stop saying that," he wrote. "Guapdad can always say whatever he wants but n-ggas know my loyalty."

J. Cole's apology came during his headlining set at Dreamville Festival this past weekend and was in response to him dissing Kendrick Lamar on "7 Minute Drill" - a rebuttal to K. Dot's own shots at him and Drake on Future and Metro Boomin's "Like That."

"I'm so proud of [Might Delete Later], except for one part. It's one part of that shit that makes me feel like, man that's the lamest shit I did in my fuckin' life, right? And I know this is not what a lot of people want to hear," he admitted.

Diddy has been hit with yet another lawsuit, this time filed by an artist who claims that he still hasn't been paid for art he made for the embattled Bad Boy.

According to court documents obtained by HipHopDX, Raven Production Management Group, LLC filed the complaint in the Southern District of New York as of Tuesday (April 9). The plaintiff is claiming that Phantom Labs and Matthew Lupton reached out to him and commissioned a sculpture for an event that the businessman was putting on back in August 2023.

The artist further claimed that Diddy signed the contract and even promised him funds the very next day to begin the project, after which he incurred an additional $20,000 in costs for the project. When the assignment was paused due to the event being postponed, he was never paid for his work despite incurring more than $97,000 in costs.

Hence, the filing proposes "damages to Raven in an amount to be determined at trial, but no less than $200,000 for breach of contract, no less than $96,732.00 for fraudulent inducement, and additional damages for tortious interference with contract and business relations, deceptive trade practices, unjust enrichment, and quantum meruit."

Diddy's son Justin Combs recently hired Jeffrey Lichtman (once an attorney for El Chapo and mob scion John Gotti Jr.) to defend him following the Homeland Security raids on his father's homes in Miami and Los Angeles. Earlier this week, he called out the federal agency for allegedly "using the press" to their advantage.

On a new episode of the Beyond the Legal Limit podcast, Lichtman claimed that the feds abused their authority when they raided Diddy's mansions by allowing members of the media to be present as they were executing the warrants.

Plaintiff Grace O'Marcaigh is alleging that the Hip Hop scion raped her in 2022, just a few days before his father threw his annual New Year's Eve yacht party. What's more, she is also claiming that the the gathering in question was advertised as a "wholesome family event" and that it turned into a "hedonistic environment" before she knew it.

"Like father, like son," attorney Tyrone Blackburn said , who is representing both O'Marcaigh and producer Lil Rod, who filed a similar suit against Diddy back in February.
