Just a couple of months after it was rumored that Bey would make an appearance at the Democratic National Convention, she popped out at a rally in her hometown of Houston, TX to officially endorse Harris for president.

During her speech, the icon emphasized that she wasn't on the campaign trail as a celebrity, but rather, as a mother concerned for the well-being of her children.

"I'm not here as a celebrity, I'm not here as a politician. I'm here as a mother," Beyoncé said. "A mother who cares deeply about the world my children and all of our children live in, a world where we have the freedom to control our bodies, a world where we're not divided. Imagine our daughters growing up seeing what's possible with no ceilings, no limitations. We must vote, and we need you."

Despite explaining exactly why she thought her endorsement was so important, some people were still upset about Beyoncé getting political, including Fox News Analyst Xaviaer DuRousseau.

The former Black Lives Matter activist called Harris "desperate" for her many celebrity endorsements, despite Donald Trump employing a similar strategy (though, admittedly, his celebrity supporters aren't of the same caliber of fame).

Later in the same segment, he went on in Beyoncé, throwing shade at her latest album, Cowboy Carter.

"[Beyonce] doesn't need to be doing that [endorsing Kamala]," DuRousseau said. "She needs to be focusing on trying to keep her album on the charts because it's already gone."

Xaviaer was clearly proud of himself, taking to X to say that dragging Bey on live TV is "the bravest thing I've ever done in my career." He also referred to the BeyHive as "domestic terrorists."

"Domestic terrorists" or not, Beyoncé fans took this opportunity to do what they do best, digging up tweets from DuRousseau proving that he was actually one of them not too long ago.

Multiple tweets from Xaviaer chronicled by The Shade Room show him referring to Beyoncé and Jay Z as "a Royal family," saying he defends them "as if I'm on their payroll."

Another shows him ironically declaring: "Many of you hate Beyoncé because someone told you to hate Beyoncé."

He even has tweets praising Cowboy Carter, the same album he just insulted on live TV.
