Deb Antney Says Gucci Mane Looked "Drugged" During "Breakfast Club" Interview, Slams Keyshia Ka'oir

Deb Antney didn't hold back when she called out Gucci Mane's behavior during his recent appearance on "The Breakfast Club" with Keyshia Ka'oir, questioning whether the rapper was under the influence and accusing Ka'oir of exploiting his mental health for clout.

The longtime music executive and mother of Waka Flocka Flame, who once managed Gucci herself, voiced concern during a sit-down with V. Lenore.




Antney said something felt off about the Atlanta rapper's demeanor during the interview, suggesting he may have been medicated or impaired.

"It just did not seem like him," Antney said. "But there's many rumors about that relationship, period. That's not him. In a million years, you wouldn't get to make me believe that either he wasn't drugged up or something wasn't going on with him there. That's just not him."




She also criticized Ka'oir for publicly discussing Gucci's mental health struggles, including his battle with schizophrenia, which he has spoken about before.




Antney took issue with how Ka'oir presented the information, implying it was more about attention than awareness.




"I don't feel like he should have come out nationally saying the stuff that she said about her husband," Antney said. "That sounds like somebody that wants attention. That's seeking attention, and that threw her husband out on the chopping block. I don't care what anybody says... This ain't about them worrying about no damn mental health. This is them worrying about people trying to be on top."




Antney also referred to Ka'oir as "the handler" and questioned the motives behind the couple's public disclosures.








Her comments mirrored criticism from Nicki Minaj, who previously blasted Ka'oir on social media. Minaj accused Ka'oir of controlling Gucci and using his condition to manipulate the narrative.




"She's there to keep Gucci sedated," Minaj tweeted on October 20. "Gucci hates Debra Antney. They don't want Deb around me. She's around me now."




Minaj didn't stop there. She also accused Ka'oir of betraying her husband for attention. "Why would they have had to talk to you? You see how you just revealed that it was not about Gucci Mane, you silly hoe?" she wrote, adding, "You dishonored your husband. You do not honor Gucci Mane."
