Its Time For #JustATouchof_J 's Weekly Affirmation. Don't Let Your But Get In The Way. Phillipians 4

It's time for JustATouchof_J's Affirmation's on my JustATouchofJ Mobile App, Instagram's Facebook's, Tumblr, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, LinkedIn, and Blackvibes.com just to name a few! ;)

This weeks affirmation comes from (Philippians 4:13.) I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

So as I was sitting here chillin. Minding my business. Just doing what it is that I do.. I had aha moment. As I was reflecting on how I almost didn't take a opportunity that was offered to me early today because of my current health issues. I mean it was a great opportunity too, but.. I began to question my ability during my healing process. I started to doubt if I could indeed handle the responsibility that the opportunity entailed. I wondered if I could actually take on the task at hand. I almost let my "but" get in the way. I do mean that literally.

Anyway, I decided to pray about it and ask God to lead me. I asked father God to show me if it was ok to take the opportunity because I didn't really know if I should. Told God I was a bit confused about the journey. Have you ever had something amazing be offered to you but.. you weren't sure if you were capable to handle it?

Well a few minutes later I heard the Holy Spirit speak to me. Fear! False Evidence Appearing Real! Then the scripture Phillipians 4:13 popped in my head. I can do all things through Christ! I was like wow! I said thank you God!

If I truly believe what Gods word says then I would be ok. (I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength!) I made the decision to take the opportunity and it turned out to be amazing.

This week I want to encourage you to look past your inabilities and know that you can do ALL THINGS through Christ who gives you strength too! God can help you do what you think you can't. Ask Him for guidance. He always has your back.

It's that simple! Don't let YOUR "BUT" get in the way!
