Did You Miss My #JustATouchof_J 's Weekly Affirmation? Attention Is One Hell Of A Drug!

Good Day Everyone!

It's time for JustATouchof_J's Affirmation's on my JustATouchofJ Mobile App, Instagram's Facebook's, Tumblr, Twitter, TikTok, Snapchat, Reddit, LinkedIn, and Blackvibes.com just to name a few! ;)

This weeks affirmation comes from the Scripture's of the Week! (Matthew 6:1-2)

"Be [very] careful not to do your [a] good deeds publicly, to be seen by men; otherwise you will have no reward [prepared and awaiting you] with your Father who is in heaven. "So whenever you give to the poor and do acts of kindness, do not blow a trumpet before you [to advertise it], as the hypocrites do [like actors acting out a role] in the synagogues and in the streets, so
that they may be honored and recognized and praised by men. I assure you and most solemnly say to you, they [already] have their reward in full.

Lord Jesus Fix it! Lol.

This Affirmation is so simple to say but many people have a hard time doing it. We live in a world where painting the perfect picture is like microwave popcorn baby. Many just love the instant gratification that it bestows. Good deeds are done publicly while random acts of kindness plague society with the words too good to be true! And "Social Media" has turned into the TikTok of money see, monkey do.

People are now advertising kindness to get praise. The Bible says they do what hypocrites do [like actors acting out a role].

I'm my JayZ voice, "This ain't a movie Dog!"

I'm calling it what it is.. insecurity!

Do you know anyone like that? Do you know of someone who's addicted to the recognition?
Do you know someone who will do anything for the applause from others? I'm sure we all do! Or have you ever struggled with seeking acceptance? I know there was a time in my life were I couldn't get enough of thinking others could make me whole.

So.. I'm Spreading the word!
I've got the formula. I've got the cure! Lol, Look no further! Here's the quick fix!

(Matthew 6:3-4) But when you give to the poor and do acts of kindness, do not let your left hand know what your right hand is doing [give in complete secrecy], so that your charitable acts will be done in secret; and your Father who sees [what is done] in secret will reward you.

In other words. Do what you do unto God and not people. Understand that when you do things to be seen by others, you're never in control because they're. SMH.. you just gotta tell yourself the truth. You have to realize that you have deep rooted issues with self love when seeking attention fuels your identity.

This week practice doing things for Gods Glory, and not your own. That will fix everything and remember attention is one "hell" of a drug. Don't get addicted to it!

This is #JustATouchof_J .. Everything else is God. I'm just tryna put it all out there in pieces for you Baby! ;)
