Black-owned farmers market in full swing this spring

With the start of springtime, farmers' markets around Minnesota are popping up like dandelions. Of the 373 farmers markets in the state, only one, Lakeview Terrace Farmers Market in Robbinsdale, is owned by a Black woman.




"There's a system and purpose behind this," said Chaz Sandifer, owner of the market. "Lakeview Terrace Farmers Market is a holistic wellness experience."




Located at the intersection of Bottineau Blvd (CR 81) and Lakeland Avenue, across from the Robbinsdale Hy-Vee, the Lakeview Terrace Farmers Market is open from 9 am to 1 pm every Saturday through September 23.... Read more
