Google has removed several important cultural observances from Google Calendar, including Pride Month, Black History Month, and Holocaust Remembrance Day. The company explained in an email to Newsweek that its previous system for adding these events was "unsustainable." Going forward, Google Calendar will only display public holidays and national observances.
