Minneapolis School Board to hold vote on Deshaun Hill settlement Tuesday

MINNEAPOLIS - The Minneapolis Public School Board will vote Tuesday on a half-a-million-dollar settlement to be paid to the family of a student who was fatally shot while walking home from school. 




Police say 15-year-old Deshaun Hill Jr. was shot Feb. 9 in the area of Penn Avenue North and Golden Valley Road. He was rushed to the hospital, where he died the next day.




Hill was walking home from North High School in Feb. 2022 when he was shot and killed.... Read more
