Christopher Hope issued his remarks after an Instagram story uploaded to Lil Tay's account earlier today (September 26th), accused him of being an abuser and credited him for false stories about her death. The post he was referring to shared his image with the caption:
"Everything stated is 100% false, and I trust that this should be obvious to anyone who knows me or the long history of absurd and untrue statements made by the various people who have controlled the Instagram account."
At this time it is unclear who created the post, as Lil Tay's reps claimed in their initial response to her death reports that her account was hacked by a "3rd party."Nearly a day later, Lil Tay reportedly released a statement, clarifying that she and her brother were okay and expressing her grief about the situation. At this time, there has been no actual sighting of the social media personality since the whole ordeal went down. That point makes the situation all the more weird, considering that Lil Tay began building her brand online, hailing herself as "the youngest flexer of the century" and blowing up with her comical flex videos. Though she hasn't been seen much on the internet since taking a hiatus following her parents' nasty divorce and custody battle, she is still well known among the internet community. There have been no other updates regarding Lil Tay's whereabouts at this time. Do you think Lil Tay's father is likely responsible for the death hoax? Drop your thoughts in the comments below!
