Rush to Mark 'Grace Under Pressure' 40th Anniversary With Box Set, 2026 Tour

Rush will celebrate the 40th anniversary of their 1984 album "Grace Under Pressure" with an expanded box set set for release March 13.

The anniversary edition will be available in multiple formats, including a five-disc super deluxe edition with four CDs and one Blu-ray. The set features a 2025 remaster of the original album, a new mix by longtime producer Terry Brown, and a complete live show recorded at Toronto's Maple Leaf Gardens on Sept. 21, 1984. The Blu-ray also includes Dolby Atmos and surround mixes, as well as previously unreleased promo videos.

"Grace Under Pressure" was released in April 1984 as Rush's 10th studio album and peaked at No. 10 on the U.S. charts. The album included the single "Distant Early Warning," which reached No. 3 on Billboard's rock chart.

"Our songwriting had taken us to a different musical place," bassist Geddy Lee said in a statement. "It was an expansion of our soundscape with a range of new technologies, not just keyboards and samples, but electronic drums too, while getting to know the new dude behind the console [producer Peter Henderson] with a very different working style."

The 40th anniversary box set includes:
- 2025 remaster of the original album
- 2025 Terry Brown album mix, commissioned by Lee and guitarist Alex Lifeson
- Full live recording of the band's 1984 Maple Leaf Gardens concert
- Liner notes written by Lee
- Blu-ray with concert video, surround mixes, and promo videos
