Overlooked but Never Defeated: Chevar Releases 'No Giving Up

Drewsland artist and Kingston, Jamaica's own, Chevar is back with his new single, "No Giving Up," released October 2nd. The track tells a story of perseverance, faith, and the determination to keep pushing despite the challenges of chasing a music career.

After years of recording, moving from studio to studio, and facing broken promises, Chevar continues to pursue his passion without a major breakthrough.

"I've been through a lot," Chevar says. "Studio to studio, door to door. People say they will help and disappear. But music is in me, I can't stop. So I keep recording."

With honest vocals and a soulful sound, "No Giving Up" speaks to aspiring artists and young people who know what it feels like to work hard while waiting for their opportunity. Chevar's message is simple: keep the faith, keep working, and never give up on your dreams.

Despite working without a big team or budget, Chevar continues to build his sound and establish his place in Kingston's underground music scene.
"No Giving Up" is available now on all streaming platforms.
