Now that the Diddy verdict is in and it seems like the embattled music icon might actually be coming home regardless of how many lives the man potentially ruined with his ways and actions, one of his former artists is speaking out and slamming the decision as she is familiar with Diddy and how he goes about his private life.
According to Page Six, former Danity Kane member Aubrey O'Day took to her Instagram Stories to touch on the jury's decision to acquit Diddy of the more serious charges in the case and called the Bad Boy founder "dangerous" while saying that her heart is with Cassie at the moment. Saying that she hopes none of the jurors who voted to acquit Diddy of sex trafficking and racketeering ever have to "watch someone they love endure what so many survivors have described." O'Day went on to slam the kind of culture that's being accepted today.
Page Six reports:
"The pattern of behavior Sean Combs has shown us over the decades is not a mystery. It's a warning. And now, that pattern risks being reframed - and has now been legitimized by the system."
The former "Making the Band" contestant, 41, went on to blast the "Bonnie and Clyde" narrative surrounding Combs' relationship with Ventura, claiming their connection was full of "control, coercion and abuse."
"We have to stop rewriting history to excuse the behavior, and start normalizing accountability - no matter how powerful the person. That narrative is not just dishonest. It's dangerous," she added.
O'Day concluded, "Women, nor men, nor ANY ARTIST are the property of those with the most wealth, fame, and power. We are not disposable. 12 people on a jury will not be deciding that for us."
She's not wrong, but the way that people celebrated Diddy's verdict by squirting baby oil all over the place outside of the courtroom shows just how far we've fallen as civilized and empathetic human beings in 2025. We blame social media.
