Just days after 2024 Heisman Trophy winner Travis Hunter married Leanna Lenee, the couple's union sparked a wave of commentary, most notably from Cam'ron and Mase on their podcast "It Is What It Is".
Around the 47-minute mark of a recent episode, Mase voiced concern about the relationship, citing past controversies involving Leanna. "I think when it comes to the young lady, she does have like different things that have transpired," Mase said. "For me as a dad, if that was my son, I would definitely be concerned."
Cam echoed Mase's cautious stance, particularly regarding the alleged absence of a prenuptial agreement. "Do what you want, Travis, that's up to you," Cam said. "I'm signing a prenup unless shorty getting as much money as I get or more than me." He criticized the notion that prenups are unromantic, calling them a logical form of protection.
Hunter has faced public scrutiny over his relationship before. In 2023, he briefly deactivated his social media after rumors circulated that Leanna was using him or insecure about his rising fame. He later defended her on Twitch, though that defense was met with mixed reactions.
Despite the controversy, the newlyweds seemed unbothered during their wedding celebration. Hunter even surprised Leanna with a luxurious black Mercedes-Benz AMG G63 BRABUS 800. While the public and media weigh in with their opinions, the couple appears focused on their future together, standing united against outside judgment.
