Cardi B Announces New Album 'Am I The Drama?', Pre-Sales Already Past A Milli

It's been seven years since Cardi B released her Grammy award-winning debut album Invasion Of Privacy, but rejoice Cardi fans for the bombshell from the Bronx is readying to release her sophomore album, Am I The Drama?




Days after releasing her latest single "Outside," Cardi took to social media to announce that her next album Am I The Drama is releasing Sept. 19 and gave fans the chance to pre-order the project on her website Cardib.com.

Known to be dramatic with just about everything that goes on in her life, Cardi dropped a teaser for the album this past Sunday with an Instagram post in which she posed with some fake crows (and one real one?). "Seven years and the time has come," she said in a voiceover. "Seven years of love, life and loss. Seven years I gave them grace, but now, I give them hell. I learned power is not given, it's taken. I'm shedding feathers and no more tears. I'm not back, I'm beyond. I'm not your villain, I'm your karma. The time is here. The time is now."

Might've been a bit overkill, but hey, this is Cardi B. She's OD with everything she does.




Though pre-orders for the album have been open for less than 24 hours, she's already surpassed 1.5 million sales with more sure to come. With everything she's gone through in the last seven years including her marriage to Offset, beef with other female rappers, and experiencing motherhood, we're sure there will be no shortage of tea talk on her upcoming sophomore album.
