
Hulu and Sterling K. Brown are teaming up again in hopes of striking gold again with a new limited series, Washington Black.
The eight-episode series' announcement also arrived with its first trailer, starring Brown (Paradise, American Fiction) and Ernest Kingsley Jr. (The Sandman, War of the Worlds).
The series will follow Esi Edugyan's best-selling novel, which tells the story of 11-year-old George Washington "Wash" Black, born on a Barbados sugar plantation and blessed with a scientific mind, embarking on an unprecedented journey in the 19th century.
An accident forces him to flee his home, but also sends him on a globe-spanning adventure.

Washington Black will feature additional cast members, Tom Ellis, Rupert Graves, Iola Evans, Edward Bluemel, Charles Dance, Sharon Duncan-Brewster, Eddie Karanja, Julian Rhind-Tutt, Shaunette Renée Wilson, Blaine Dorey, Ntare Guma Mbaho Mwine, and Billy Boyd.
