'The BMF Documentary: Blowing Money Fast' Is Coming Back For A 6-Part Second Season

50 Cent is currently feuding with Big Meech and his son, Demetrius Flenory Jr., but neither he nor Starz is done profiting off BMF's life story.
Starz announced that the BMF documentary has been greenlit for a six-part second season at the network, with this latest installment featuring an exclusive interview with Terry Flenory. A teaser gives us a glimpse of the sit-down with the former co-head of the BMF organization, with an extended sneak peek now available via the Starz app.
Like the popular series, The BMF Documentary: Blowing Money Fast follows the meteoric rise and fall of the Black Mafia Family, started by the Detroit natives, Meech and Terry Flenory, who were two of the most infamous drug-traffickers in the United States.
It details their climb to the top of the streets in the hustling game, with Flenrory telling his story in his own words for the first time, which will be the primary focus of season 2 of the six-part documentary.
"BMF has made a profound impact on hip-hop and culture, and the success of our unscripted and scripted series is a testament to its iconic status in the zeitgeist," said Kathryn Busby, President of Original Programming for Starz. "Our audience is hungry for more, and we're excited to continue to expand their experience with this true story, featuring the real-life players of BMF, as well as a never-before-heard firsthand account from Terry himself."
The Builds On The Success of The Scripted BMF Series
The BMF Documentary: Blowing Money Fast builds off the intrigue generated by the popular scripted drama, BMF, that also follows Demetrius Flenory "Big Meech" (Demetrius Flenory Jr.) and Terry Flenory "Southwest Tee" (Da'Vinchi), showcasing the drug-dealing brothers' rise to power while dealing with corrupt law enforcement and other family drama.
Like the series, 50 Cent serves as an executive producer on The BMF Documentary: Blowing Money Fast. He is also currently feuding with Flenory Jr. and his father after the latter accepted money from G-Unit's general's longtime rival, Rick Ross.
50 Cent put all of Lil Meech's business out in the streets, alleging drug abuse and a stint in rehab while also threatening to kick the young actor off the show.
