Cardi B Seemingly Responds To Claims That She Copied BIA's Sound On New Diss: 'B*tch Please Don't Nobody Wanna Be Her'
Rap star Cardi B is currently the talk of the internet!

The New York native has been trending recently as social media users react to her seemingly dissing BIA on a new feature.

Discussions about the situation began after the remix of GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallion's collaborative single "Wanna Be" feat. Cardi B dropped earlier today (Friday, May 30th). On the  song, Cardi B rapped the lyric:

"Guess I'm a teacher since you wanna sub me / She did one had no idea / Thought she was on the shelf IKEA / Hope she talk like that when I see her / B*tch please don't nobody wanna be her (BIA)"



Apparently, the jab was a response to BIA seemingly dissing Cardi B for quite some time. As we recently covered, social media users alleged that Cardi copied BIA's sound for her single "Miami," which BIA seemed to agree with. Shortly after Cardi dropped the song, BIA tweeted laughing emoji's followed up with a message that read:

"It's getting weird"

Additionally, it's been speculated that BIA quietly took a shot at her colleague during a feature on Chicago rapper Dreezy's single "B*tch Duh Remix." While she didn't directly mention Cardi, it was widely speculated that the line claiming her opposition was asking for her "lo" a.k.a. location, was directed at the "Bodak Yellow" artist.



It's also been speculated that BIA first began taking issue with Cardi around the time she landed a feature from the self-proclaimed queen of rap Nicki Minaj for the "Whole Lotta Money" remix. As you may know, Cardi and Nicki Minaj have famously been at odds with one another pretty much ever since Cardi came onto the scene.


At this time, it doesn't appear that BIA has reacted to the newest shot from Cardi. Social media users, however, have certainly been chiming in with many giving Cardi her props.

Looks like Bow Wow isn't playing about collecting on his debt.

The entertainer took to his social media account recently with a stern warning to all his hip-hop colleagues that he claims owe him money.

Bow Wow, real name Shad Gregory Moss, 37, wrote on X (formerly Twitter):

"yo! yall think 50 gotta long list of rappers owing hiM MONEY??!!! IMA START NAMING RAPPERS THAT OWE ME AND BEEN RUNNING OFF WITH THE PAPE FOR 3 yrs! dont let that like mike sh*t fool you! I WANT MY MONEY!!!! ima start naming u n***as"

While Bow Wow didn't elaborate any further, his reference to 50 Cent should let whoever he's addressing know he means business. As you may know, the G-unit founder is quite famous for relentlessly tracking down his debtors and ridiculing them online until they pay what they owe. If you recall, 50 Cent and his court battle with ex girlfriend Teairra Mari is arguably one of the most famous examples.

The former couple has been back and forth in court for years after a judge awarded 50 Cent a judgement of $50,000 in legal fees and expenses after Teairra Mari unsuccessfully sued him over revenge porn back in 2018. While the reality star has verbally made it a point to claim that she has no intentions of paying the money, 50 has made it clear he will not drop the matter, and has continued to pursue the issue in court.

Other celebs such as actor Jackie Long, singer Rotimi, and rapper Young Buck are a few other names that have made headlines over their debts to 50. It does not appear that 50 has reacted to Bow Wow's mention at this time.

Congratulations are in order for Diddy's daughter Chance Combs!

The aspiring actress recently graduated from high school with her famous siblings cheering her on, though her billionaire father appeared to not have attended the event.

Christian Combs, 25, the eldest of Diddy's 3 children with late model Kim Porter, posted a video of his sister Chance Combs, 17, walking to get her diploma. The graduation reportedly took place at Sierra Canyon School in Los Angeles this past Thursday (May 29th). Celebrating his sibling, Christian tagged her in an Instagram post with the caption:

"congratulations"

Diddy's other children, twins Jessie James and D'Lila, 17, who the media mogul also shares with Kim Porter, were also present. The models uploaded an image of their sibling to their social media page, showing off the new graduate's gorgeous cap and gown photo.

The two appeared in another post uploaded to the page of Diddy's youngest child, Love Sean Combs, 1, who he welcomed with model Dana Tran back in 2022.

Though unconfirmed, it doesn't appear that Diddy nor his other children, Justin Combs, 30, who he shares with Misa Hylton, nor his adopted son Quincy Brown (Porter's eldest son), 32, were in attendance. Chance's mother Sarah Chapman, however, was certainly present. The businesswoman took to her on Instagram writing in a post:

"LET'S GOOOOO CHANCE!!"

At this time, it doesn't appear that Diddy has spoken publicly about missing his daughter's milestone event. Reports state that he was also allegedly absent from the twins recent prom send-off. It's speculated that the hip-hop veteran is avoiding the spotlight as rumors about a potential criminal indictment continue to grow.

As we've been covering, reports claim that Diddy could be facing criminal charges as a result of a number of abuse, sex trafficking, and possession allegations that have been made against him across several different lawsuits. However, musician has not formally been charged with anything at the time of writing.

Eminem Receives Mixed Reactions To Referencing Megan Thee Stallion Shooting In New Song 'Houdini'
Hip-hop veteran Eminem is no stranger to controversy.

The Detroit rapper has once again captured the culture's attention with the release of his new single 'Houdini', which contentiously references Megan Thee Stallion infamously being shot by Tory Lanez.

In the first verse of the song, Eminem, real name Marshall Mathers III, 51, rapped the lyric:

"If I was to ask for Megan Thee Stallion if she would collab with me/ Would I really have a shot at a feat?"



The bar was a nod to Houston native Megan Thee Stallion, real name Megan Pete, 29, famously being shot by her rap colleague Tory Lanez, real name Daystar Peterson, 31, in the foot back in 2020. If you recall, the Canadian musician stood trial over the incident and was ultimately sentenced to 10 years behind bars. Tory Lanez is currently in the process of appealing the decision.

While justice prevailed in the court room, Megan Thee Stallion fans do not take kindly to other rapper's mentioning the traumatic event for music, though Eminem has been receiving mixed reactions online. Some users have been praising the lyric's cleverness, pointing out the MC is known for making outlandish remarks in his music and are not all offended or surprised by the Megan reference. Others fiercely defended the "B.O.A." artist, arguing that Eminem and all other artists should stop commenting on the matter in their music.







Eminem's latest single is reportedly the first from his forthcoming 12th studio album, The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce). It does not appear that Megan has reacted to the lyric at this time.

John Legend Breaks Silence On Accusations Against Diddy & 2016 Video Footage Of Diddy Abusing Cassie: 'I Was Horrified'
John Legend is the latest celebrity to condemn Sean "Diddy" Combs after a disturbing video of the Bad Boy Records founder physically assaulting his former girlfriend Cassie surfaced earlier this month. The surveillance footage was released as Diddy faces a handful of sexual assault lawsuits.

John Legend told CNN's  Christiane Amanpour on Thursday (May 30),

"I was horrified by the descriptions that I read before the video evidence came out. And absolutely it's something that needs to be brought to light when it happens."

He continued,

"My default stance is to believe women when they make these accusations and to make sure that we do whatever we can to support women."

He noted that he wants victims to be,

"heard and that any kind of accountability and reparations can be made to make these women whole again."

John Legend said the allegations against Diddy are "shameful," and he hopes "the best" for Cassie and "for all the other victims that have alleged that he's abused them."

Added the Grammy-winning singer:

"It's quite a shame. I really just want accountability and hopefully some healing for all of his victims."

In November, Cassie filed an alarming lawsuit against Diddy, whom she dated for over a decade before they ended things in 2018. In the claims, she accused him sexual assault, piling her with drugs, and brutally abusing her verbally and physically throughout their relationship. They reached an undisclosed settlement agreement the next day.

Since then, Diddy has been named in seven additional civil lawsuits accusing him of similar behavior, according to CNN.

The video footage of Diddy and Cassie was released by the outlet on May 17. It shows Diddy grabbing, kicking, and dragging Cassie. It matched the claims of an incident that Cassie detailed in her lawsuit.

A 2016 surveillance video obtained by CNN shows Sean "Diddy" Combs grab, shove, drag and kick his then-girlfriend Cassie Ventura during an altercation. This footage appears to matches allegations in a now-settled federal lawsuit filed by Ventura in November.

After the footage went viral, Diddy released an apology, saying he was "disgusted" by his behavior in the clip.

Today (May 30) Donald Trump was found guilty of all 34 felony counts of falsifying business records to cover up hush money payments sent to porn star Stormy Daniels. The former president now faces up to four years in prison. Reportedly, a hung jury was expected by many, and Donald Trump and his team allegedly went from smiling to serious expressions when the jury announced the guilty verdict. It's important to note that this marks the first time a former U.S. president has been convicted of a crime.

For those in need of a refresher, amid the 2016 presidential election, Donald Trump's former lawyer Michael Cohen reportedly paid Stormy Daniels a total of $130,000 to stay hushed about her previous affair with The Apprentice host. Trump reportedly reimbursed Cohen for making the payments on his behalf but attempted to hide the charges by filing them under "legal expenses." According to The Guardian,

"The prosecution alleged the falsifications were made to conceal Trump's violation of New York state election law, which makes it a crime to promote the election of any person to office through unlawful means."

Exiting the courtroom, Trump spoke to the press on the verdict and said,

"This was a disgrace. This was a rigged trial by a conflicted judge who was corrupt. It's a rigged trial, a disgrace. They wouldn't give us a venue change. We were at 5% or 6% in this district, in this area."

He continued, referencing the upcoming presidential election,

"This was a rigged, disgraceful trial, but the real verdict is going to be Nov. 5 by the people, and they know what happened here, and everybody knows what happened here."

"This was done by the Biden administration in order to hurt a politial opponent."

'The Vince Staples Show' Renewed For Season 2 By Netflix
Rapper Vince Staples is having a great month!

Last Friday (May 24) the 30-year-old released his sixth studio album titled Dark Times, which has already received positive reviews from critics. The 13-track project earned a 7.6 rating (out of 10) from Pitchfork and a score of 80 (out of 100) from Metacritic. The praises he's been given for the album aren't the only reason Vince Staples should be celebrating right now. Today (May 30) it was revealed that his Netflix series The Vince Staples Show was renewed for a second season!



Speaking on the renewal, Vince Staples said in a statement,

"The 'Vince Staples Show' is back! The people have spoken and the most riveting, captivating, and polarizing show on Netflix is returning for season 2. Get ready for hijinks that only a mother can love. Thank you, Netflix!"

Season one, which features five episodes, premiered on Netflix on Feb. 15. As previously reported, the series stems from the rapper's YouTube series of the same name. In 2019, the "Justin" artist dropped a few comedic videos centered around an exaggerated, fictional day in his life. In 2022, Netflix came into the picture to help take the project to the next level.

Megan Thee Stallion's Lawyers Label Ex-Cameraman Accusing Rapper Of Harassment A 'Con Artist' Who Is 'Angry' After Being Fired
Attorneys representing Megan Thee Stallion have slammed the lawsuit from the rapper's former employee.

As previously reported, last month Emilio Garcia accused Megan Thee Stallion, real name Megan Pete, of harassment, claiming in June 2022 he was "trapped" in a moving vehicle while the Grammy Award winner engaged in intercourse with another woman "right beside" him. The cameraman, who worked for Megan Thee Stallion between 2018 and 2023,  also alleged she failed to pay him for overtime hours. After the lawsuit initially made headlines, Megan's legal team released a statement, saying the "salacious accusations" would be dealt with in court.

Looks like the lawyers - Mari Henderson and Alex Spiro - kept their word. In their formal response to the complaint, they argued,

"Plaintiff is a con artist who is manipulating the judicial system to act as his publicist and bullhorn in a desperate attempt to boost his failed singing career while trying to tear down the successful career of Megan thee Stallion."

They continued,

"Throughout his tenure as an independently contracted photographer and videographer for Ms. Pete and her production companies...(Garcia) repeatedly falsified his invoices and overcharged Ms. Pete for services he never completed and sought reimbursements for money he never spent."

According to the attorneys, Garcia's "pattern of misrepresentations was so prevalent that Ms. Pete was forced to terminate (him) in June 2023."

In addition, they said,

"Angry at the loss of this high-profile gig and his exile from the inner circles of stardom, (Garcia) filed a factually and legally frivolous complaint. (He) took a run of the mill wage and labor dispute and trumped up his frivolous claims with sensationalist false allegations of sex, debauchery, and workplace harassment for the sole purpose of creating a media firestorm to tarnish the career and reputation of Ms. Pete."

Lauryn Hill's Touring Company Sued For Almost $60,000 In Unpaid Wages Following Cancellation Of Several Shows
Singer/songwriter Lauryn Hill's touring company is being accused of not paying an alleged debt.

Reportedly, a service provider hired to help the songstress prepare for her anniversary tour filed suit against the company, claiming they're owed nearly $60,000 in unpaid compensation.

The complaint was reportedly submitted by California service provider Eighteentwentysix LLC against Lauryn Hill's MLH Touring Inc. They claim that a contract both parties entered around August 2023 was breached after MLH failed to follow through on paying approximately $59,175.89 for the production, rehearsals, and other details they were hired to oversee for the singer's North America tour.

As previously covered, Lauryn Hill announced a tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of her record-breaking The Miseducation Of Lauryn Hill album last year, though she ended up having to cancel several show dates due to health complications. It appears that the situation resulted in Eighteentwentysix LLC never being paid for their services despite numerous attempts to collect on the alleged debt. The company is suing for the amount owed plus a 10% interest, and also wants MLH to cover their attorney fees, the costs incurred in filing the lawsuit, and any other relief deemed just and fair.

At this time, it has not been reported that Hill has responded to the matter in public or court. If you recall, the "Ex-Factor" artist promised to make up the lost shows to her fans, announcing that all the canceled concerts would be rescheduled and that she'd be adding additional tour dates and cities.

Gizelle Bryant is still defending herself against ongoing colorism accusations.

During a recent TV appearance, the 52-year-old Real Housewives of Potomac star addressed colorism accusations from viewers, which stems from several years of tumultuous exchanges with co-stars Candiace Dillard Bassett and Dr. Wendy Osefo.

When asked about the accusations by Good Day D.C. anchor Marissa Mitchell, she stated,

"I think it's extremely unfortunate."

She continued,

"Am I colorist? Absolutely not, and my life speaks to that. I'm raising brown girls; it's hurtful to them for people to say that about their mother. I love who and what I am, meaning my skin is very thick. People say all kinds of untrue things about me, and I just have to realize that I can't make everybody happy out here."

When asked if the accusations hurt her, Gizelle Bryant replied,

"No, because I know that I'm not. I'm a hard pill to swallow, so if you can make up a lie about me and run with it, then I think that's what people like to do."

Gizelle Bryant also touched on season nine of RHOP, which is reportedly currently filming. Although she didn't confirm nor deny her involvement, she did mention Robyn Dixon's departure from the show, stating,

"Do we miss our girl? Absolutely. Robyn is not only my friend on the show, but she's one of my best friends off the show, so she is definitely missed."

Back in April, Robyn Dixon confirmed she would not be returning to RHOP, about two weeks after theJasmineBRAND exclusively reported the news.

During the interview, Gizelle also seemed to have thrown some shade toward rumored RHOP newbie, Stacey Rusch.

"No, we didn't. She moved on to bigger and better things."
