My name is Machy (Ma-sh-ie), and music is my passion. I have been a DJ for over 20 years and have recently begun recording and producing music, creating drops and beats for clients.
I was born and raised on the beautiful island of Tobago, which is the sister island of Trinidad (aka Trinidad & Tobago). I have always had a deep passion for music watching my father DJ all around Tobago as a youth. Before migrating to Boston, MA in the mid 1990's, I attended the Institute of Broadcasting careers in Trinidad earning a certificate in Broadcasting.
Since then, I have had the pleasure of providing musical entertainment at several events across the New England area. You can listen to me live every Saturday from 5pm-7pm EST on BigCity FM (88.5fm), which is linked here on my App. Before joining the BigCity station, I hosted a segment on the now defunct station Vibe105.3.
Aside from being a DJ, I also provide professional staging for events that include music players, speakers and lights for corporate events, weddings, baby showers and birthday parties. As a DJ, I also have a few of my own events in Boston, MA.
While I am from the Caribbean, my love for music spans across all genres therefore when booking me for an event, I will musically entertain your ears with any genres you request.
