R. Kelly Found Guilty On All Counts In Racketeering & Sex Trafficking Trial
The jury in R. Kelly's federal trial in Brooklyn has found him guilty of racketeering and sex trafficking after a six-week trial.
Prosecutors announced the verdict against the disgraced singer earlier today (Monday, Sept. 27). The jury consisted of five women and seven men.
Its decision is the latest development in the trial against R. Kelly, who declined to take the stand, that included dozens of witnesses as he was accused of having sexual relationships with underage girls and subjecting them to sexual and physical abuse.
An indictment against R. Kelly, 54, accused him of racketeering that dates back to 1999. Prosecutors alleged he
"traveled throughout the United States and abroad to perform at concert venues...and to recruit women and girls to engage in illegal sexual activity with Kelly."
His victims had to comply with "numerous rules" where they"were not permitted to leave their room without receiving permission, including to eat or go to the bathroom," were "not permitted to look at other men" and "were required to call Kelly 'Daddy,'" according to the indictment.
He was also accused of not disclosing an STD he had, and asking underage girls to send him pictures.
He could get 10 years to life in prison.
He is still facing child pornography and obstruction of justice charges in his home state, Illinois. He was also charged in 2019 in Minnesota for engaging in prostitution with a minor.

'The View' Issues Apology To Sunny Hostin & Ana Navarro For Disclosing False Positive Covid Tests On Air
The View has given apologies to full-time panelist Sunny Hostin and frequent guest-host Ana Navarro for falsely announcing the ladies tested positive for COVID. As previously reported, On Friday (Sept. 24), while on-air, Sunny Hostin, 52, and Ana Navarro, 49, were asked to leave the set of The View after their COVID-19 tests reportedly came back positive. According to reports, both women are fully vaccinated. Vice President Kamala Harris was scheduled to join the ladies of The View for the episode but plans changed after the test results were announced. Instead, she appeared remotely from a room at the studio.

On Sept. 25 Ana Navarro shared via Twitter her hopes that the test result was a false-positive.

She later added that she took two more tests, which were also negative, giving her three negative tests following the false positive.
It looks like Ana Navarro got her wish and both she and Sunny Hostin don't actually have COVID but instead, were issued a false-positive test result. On today's (Monday, Sept. 27) episode of The View co-host Joy Behar, 78, gave details about the false-positive tests. She said,
"This is the update: We were all given numerous, numerous COVID tests."
"I am thrilled to report that Sunny and Ana's Friday results turned out to be false positives, and everyone is safe, healthy and COVID-free."
She added,
"No one's got it. It was a mistake of some sort."
Brian Teta, who is the executive producer of the talk show, issued an apology to Hostin and Navarro. He said,
"It was just an unbelievable set of circumstances, and we found out moments before we came back on the air. And in that moment, all I could think of was that we had to keep the hosts safe, and we had to keep the vice president safe - she could not walk out no matter what."

He continued,
"And that led to some really awkward television that I'd like to have back if I could, but I really want to acknowledge and apologize to Sunny and Ana, because in the midst of all this chaos, they were put in this position where they had this information put out on television."
He added,
"It was unfortunate that mistakes were made, but I can confidently say that we have very vigorous safety protocols, that everyone is regularly tested, and I'm just so relieved that you guys are healthy, that everyone is healthy and nobody was ever in danger."
Hostin then shared what the confusing moment was like for her. She said,
"It was really uncomfortable for my results to be released publicly before I even knew what was going on, before they were verified, before I was tested again and again. And there were real life ramifications when things like that happen."

Navarro also spoke on the incident and said,
"Frankly, my first thought was, 'Oh my God' - because I had just spent the day with Kamala Harris' sister, niece and brother-in-law, so I'm thinking I'm Typhoid Mary and I'm going to wipe out the entire Harris family in one week."
She added,
"So I had to call them [and] immediately call [my] family because you don't want them to find out from TV - of course they had, and it shows you just how instant, these days, news travels."

'RHOP' Viewers Shade Gizelle Bryant Over Her Home After Her Remarks About Candiace Dillard's Video Shoot + Call Out Robyn Dixon For Being Upset She Wasn't Invited On Wendy Osefo's Couples Trip
Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon's comments on the new episode of RHOP have garnered some online attention!
Last night (Sunday, Sept. 26th), a new episode of The Real Housewives of Potomac aired on Bravo. During the episode, Gizelle Bryant held a get-together outside her home to announce her and Robyn Dixon's Reasonably Shady podcast to their costars. In addition to announcing the new business venture, the RHOP women also discussed Candiace Dillard's music video shoot. While doing so, Candiace Dillard called out Mia Thornton for inquiring about her and Chris Bassett's finances, after which Mia Thornton called the music video set "low budget."
During her confessional, Gizelle Bryant agreed with Mia Thornton and suggested that, because Candiace Dillard's video shoot took place in a parking lot, the production could not have been high budget. Fans had lots to say as Gizelle Bryant's home was still under construction at the time.
Additionally, Gizelle Bryant and Robyn Dixon later got into it with Wendy Osefo at the event. After addressing the pair, Wendy Osefo announced a couples trip-though she explicitly told Robyn Dixon she and Juan Dixon weren't invited.

It appears that some of Candace Owens' fans might not know what she looks like. American conservative political commentator Candace Owens, 32, became a trending topic on Twitter after one of her fans mistook her for actress Stacey Dash, 54. Earlier today (Monday, Sept. 27) a Twitter user shared their belief that Candace Owens
"will be our first female President of the United States, and wokesters won't vote for her, because they're the real racists."
However, despite them rooting for Candace Owens they shared an image to the Tweet that wasn't of the 'Blackout' author but instead well-known actress Stacey Dash.
Following the tweet, Candace Owens trended on Twitter as people reacted to the identity mistake and shared their thoughts about the famous conservative.
The tweet is said to be from a parody account.
As previously reported, Candace Owens made headlines after she put a COVID testing facility on blast for refusing to test her. On Sept. 1 she fired off a series of tweets about the situation.
She also shared the email in question to her Instagram story. In part, the email said:
"I've just learned of this testing request and as the owner of this business am going to refuse this booking and deny service. We cannot support anyone who has pro-actively worked to make this pandemic worse by spreading misinformation, politicizing and DISCOURAGING the wearing of masks and actively dissuading people from receiving life-saving vaccinations."
Candace Owens then revealed her response to the alleged email.

Cynthia Bailey has confirmed she is parting ways with Bravo's The Real Housewives of Atlanta ahead of its 14th season.
The supermodel, who first joined the show in its third season, took to Instagram to confirm recent reports.

It appears that Nicki Minaj has gotten past her COVID concerns as she recently gave an impromptu performance in California. Over the weekend Nicki Minaj, 38, surprised fans by performing at Lil Baby and Lil Durk's "Back Outside" tour stop in California. This is the first time in two years that Nicki has given a public performance. As previously reported, Nicki has been making headlines recently for expressing concerns she has regarding COVID and the vaccine. This isn't the first time that The Weeknd and Angelina Jolie have sparked dating rumors after being spotted together. As previously reported, they were seen dining together at a high-end restaurant in Santa Monica, Il Ristorante di Giorgio Baldi, this past June. Following their alleged dinner date a source close to The Weeknd claimed his link-up with Angelina Jolie was strictly business. They said,

Kelly Price Reveals She Actually Died At One Point While Recovering From COVID As She Addresses Missing Persons Report + Da Brat Accuses Nicci Gilbert Of Discussing The Situation For Publicity
Kelly Price is sharing her truth regarding the recent speculation over her wellbeing!
Yesterday (Sunday, Sept. 26th), Kelly Price notably broke her silence on a recent missing person report about her. As previously reported, Kelly Price, 48, was pronounced missing after authorities conducted a welfare check on her home last Saturday (Sept. 18th). However, her attorney-Monica Ewing-eventually claimed the singer was not missing and was instead privately recovering from COVID-19. Despite this, Kelly Price's sister later stated that the family had not seen the singer in months, claiming:
"Until we physically see my sister, then we don't know [if she's okay]."

Now, Kelly Price is sharing her side of the matter. She revealed yesterday (Sunday, Sept. 26):
"At some point, they lost me. I woke up a couple of days later, and the first thing I remember is the team of doctors standing around me and asking me if I knew what year it was... I died. I remember waking up in ICU and the doctor asking me if I knew what year it was. Going into the hospital, I had actually had COVID for over a week-but my conditions were progressing in the wrong direction from home. I had it, [but] my husband did not have it. He was taking care of me at home-speaking with my primary care physician, giving me breathing treatments, giving me my medicine every four hours. And eventually he ended up testing positive within a week after I got it and just prior to me going to the hospital. [My doctor] could see, she was seeing me every day on FaceTime and walking him through administering meds. And when it got to a point, my temperature had raised to about 103 and my breathing was extremely shallow. So he called the ambulance and I had to go to the hospital."
Kelly Price continued:
"I was discharged, the hospital needed beds. I was able to go home with oxygen and have home health aides come check on me throughout the week-which is what happened for the period of four weeks after being released from the hospital. So, people were definitely seeing me-the people that could actually say something are not allowed to because of HIPAA law. But I was being seen several times a week by home health aides after being released on oxygen. And I actually just got my first clean COVID test probably exactly a week ago. So I have what is called 'Long COVID,' and I am facing a very uphill battle right now."
She added:
"I suffered a lot of internal damage, so I have a lot of rehabbing to do before I am able to be what I'd like to call 'concert ready' again. Following the year I've had losing so many people-I'd just lost my grandmother before I was diagnosed-I feel like the only way I can focus on me is to actually focus on me. There were actually people-I don't know, fans or whoever they were-coming to my house. People ringing the bell, leaving things at my doorstep, disturbing my neighbors all times of the day and night. And this wasn't months ago-I literally just left my house maybe a week ago because I couldn't rest there... I turned off everything. I wasn't on social media."
Kelly then proceeded to speak on her sister's statements, revealing that they are estranged and regularly go long periods without speaking:
"It hasn't been two months since I've seen my sister-it's been a year. I haven't been in the same room with her since my mother's funeral. Prior to that, we hadn't seen each other all pandemic long. That's not new for us-it's not new for us. We've been strained for a very long time. I was never missing. I was in my home, I was being seen by doctors. First and foremost, [my husband and I] both had COVID-there was no visiting. There was no visiting the house [because] we both had active COVID cases. Everyone in my family knew exactly where I was, and I have to say that it's really disappointing that things came to this... I have never been in danger, I am not in danger right now. I am focusing on putting myself first."
It's also worth noting that Nicci Gilbert and Da Brat addressed the situation online. It began when Nicci Gilbert uploaded a video giving an update about Kelly Price's situation, saying:
"I have spoken with Kelly Price. She called me last night, we had a very extensive conversation... Kelly is fine. She's not on a ventilator, she's not a hostage. She is healing from COVID."
Nicci Gilbert also proceeded to say she would be discussing what she learned from the matter on her show, and she promoted it within her message.

Da Brat took issue with how Nicci Gilbert approached the situation. On Instagram Live, she appeared to slam Nicci for putting Kelly Price's business on blast to promote her show. While she didn't mention Nicci Gilbert by name, Da Brat explicitly spoke on how no one close to Kelly Price should have put her business out there without permission.
