Snoop Dogg and Master P's company, Broadus Foods, has filed a lawsuit against Walmart and Post Foods, claiming that the companies worked together to prevent their Snoop Cereal from being sold to customers.

According to the complaint filed on Tuesday, Post allegedly did not treat their cereal equally to its own brands after reaching an agreement with the rappers' company. The lawsuit also alleges that Walmart, where the cereal was launched in July 2023, kept boxes of the cereal in stockrooms for months without making them available to customers. Civil rights attorney Ben Crump is representing Snoop Dogg and Master P in the lawsuit.

"This case shows the challenges faced by minority-owned businesses in getting fair opportunities in the marketplace," Crump said in a statement. "The actions by Post Foods and Walmart show disregard for minority entrepreneurs. If celebrities like Snoop Dogg and Master P are treated like this, imagine how smaller Black entrepreneurs are treated by big corporations."

Broadus Foods, founded by Snoop Dogg and Master P in 2022, aims to provide affordable food for families through its brands, including Snoop Cereal and Momma Snoop.

The musicians approached Post to get Snoop Cereal on retail floors and entered an agreement to sell the brand. However, the lawsuit claims that Post did not treat Snoop Cereal equally to its own brands. Despite being an immediate success, the cereal was allegedly kept from reaching customers at Walmart.

Broadus Foods is seeking damages of over $50,000 for lost profits, marketing costs, and more, and is requesting a jury trial.

Master P stated at a media briefing that the lawsuit is about minority-owned companies receiving fair treatment. "We didn't build this brand to sell it," added Snoop Dogg.

There might be a Taylor Swift-sized void at the Super Bowl this year, as Travis Kelce hinted at uncertainty regarding his girlfriend's presence at the big game. During a press conference in Las Vegas, the Chiefs' standout player revealed that Swift hasn't given him any championship pep talks. Instead, she's currently focused on her ongoing "Eras Tour" shows in Japan. Kelce jokingly mentioned that they'll "worry about" her attendance at the Super Bowl, suggesting that it's not a guaranteed event for her. Although Swift is scheduled to perform in Tokyo until Saturday, there's uncertainty about whether she'll make it to Sin City in time for Kelce's game against the 49ers on Sunday.

Swift's absence could pose a significant setback for Chiefs fans, as she has been a fixture at all of their playoff games this season, each of which resulted in victories for Kansas City. Kelce, speaking to reporters, expressed his surprise at the attention his relationship with Swift has garnered, especially after mentioning her on his "New Heights" podcast last summer. While he seemed pleased with the outcome, he humorously admitted that he never anticipated it would lead to such speculation about her Super Bowl attendance.

The San Francisco 49ers are preparing for Super Bowl 58 amidst concerns about the condition of their practice fields at UNLV. Reports indicate dissatisfaction with the fields, which were installed on top of artificial turf, leading to questions during media sessions. Despite the uncertainty, Coach Kyle Shanahan and player Deebo Samuel didn't provide clear answers. The NFL insists the fields are playable and meet safety standards, but the situation raises doubts about planning for the league's biggest event.

Amidst the uncertainty, the 49ers are adapting to the situation and sticking to their practice schedule. While the NFL maintains the fields are adequate, concerns linger about the suitability for practice. The issue underscores the importance of proper planning and preparation for such a significant sporting event.

Despite the potential distraction, players like George Kittle remain focused on the game, appreciating the opportunity to compete in the Super Bowl. While questions persist about the practice fields, the team remains determined to stay focused on their ultimate goal: winning the championship.

Country music legend Toby Keith has passed away at the age of 62 after battling stomach cancer for two years. The singer-songwriter, known for his patriotic songs like "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)" and "Made in America," peacefully passed away on February 5th, surrounded by his family, according to a statement on his official website. Keith revealed his cancer diagnosis to fans in 2021 and underwent chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery to fight the disease. Despite his health struggles, he returned to the stage for a few concerts and made a TV appearance in September 2023, where he received the Country Icon award at the People's Choice Country Awards. Keith's final performances were in December 2023 in Las Vegas.

Born Toby Keith Covel on July 8, 1961, in Clinton, Oklahoma, Keith worked in the oil industry and played in the USFL football league before pursuing a career in music. He rose to fame with hits like "Should've Been a Cowboy" and "A Little Less Talk and a Lot More Action" from his self-titled debut album in 1993. Throughout his career, Keith wrote or co-wrote many of his songs, earning numerous awards and accolades, including the Academy of Country Music's top male vocalist and album of the year award in 2001.

Keith was known for his patriotic themes, supporting U.S. troops, and advocating for American values through his music. His controversial hit "Courtesy of the Red, White and Blue (The Angry American)" became a symbol of American resilience after the September 11 terror attacks. In addition to his music career, Keith dabbled in acting and business ventures, including his chain of restaurants called Toby Keith's I Love This Bar & Grill.

His passing is mourned by fans and fellow artists alike, with tributes pouring in from the country music community. Kyle Young, CEO of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum, described Keith as "big, brash, and never bowed down or slowed down for anyone," while ACM CEO Damon Whiteside praised his impact on country music and philanthropy. Keith leaves behind a lasting legacy in the country music industry and will be remembered for his contributions to the genre.

Bud Light has cooked up a hilarious Super Bowl LVIII ad, featuring some big names like Post Malone, Peyton Manning, and Dana White. In this 60-second spot, a fan wearing a Manning jersey accidentally summons the "Bud Light Genie" while reaching for a cold bottle of Bud Light in his fridge. The Genie, dressed in a cheesy track suit, offers up some wishes. The trio's wishes range from wanting 80s metal hair to being invisible and having giant biceps. They even wish for a sweet ride and Bud Lights for everyone in the bar. Manning's fan wishes for Manning to be his best friend, and, like magic, Manning appears at their table to the tune of Steppenwolf's 1968 classic "Magic Carpet Ride."

Midway through the ad, a wish for Post Malone to join the party brings the bearded singer and Bud Light superfan to the late-night gathering. Post Malone flashes his custom diamond grill in a selfie with one of the pals. The ad ends with the one-armed character wishing to be at a UFC fight, and Dana White tells him he needs another bicep to enter the octagon.

As Manning calls for a house party, Malone raises a bottle of Bud Light to the crowd while standing on a balcony with an electric guitar. The ad concludes with a T-Rex crashing the party, fulfilling Malone's wish. This playful commercial follows last year's ad featuring actor Miles Teller and his wife Keleigh dancing. Bud Light faced criticism in 2023 after sending a promotional can to a trans influencer, sparking backlash from conservative media outlets and artists like Kid Rock, Travis Tritt, and John Rich.

Killer Mike, the 48-year-old rapper from Atlanta, experienced a dramatic turn of events at the 2024 Grammys. Despite winning three awards earlier in the pre-show, he was escorted out of the event in handcuffs on Sunday. Video footage captured by The Hollywood Reporter shows Killer Mike being detained by authorities as he exited the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles. Onlookers in the video can be heard expressing support, shouting "Free Mike."

The incident, reportedly involving an alleged physical confrontation, raises questions about possible charges. A police official hinted at the chance of Killer Mike being released later from the arena. Details about the unfolding situation are still murky, and it remains uncertain if the artist has been officially booked. Killer Mike, whose real name is Michael Render, has been a prominent figure in the music industry for over two decades, with a decorated career marked by his contributions to Outkast's 2000 album "Stankonia."

Winning three Grammy awards on Sunday, including Best Rap Song, Best Rap Performance for "Scientist & Engineers," and Best Rap Album for "Michael," Killer Mike expressed his elation to the press after the ceremony, stating, "It feels absolutely grand." While his Grammy success is noteworthy, the unfolding incident at the awards show adds a layer of uncertainty to the rapper's night. The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed the detention of a male in connection with a physical altercation just after 4 p.m., noting that the investigation is ongoing.

Killer Mike's impactful career extends beyond music, as he has been an outspoken activist for his community. In a December interview with GQ, he addressed the challenges faced by hip-hop and emphasized the need to appreciate and understand its growth. His community activism was particularly evident during the riots following the killing of George Floyd in May 2020, where Killer Mike delivered a tearful address urging protesters to protect their own city. The unfolding situation at the Grammys adds a complex chapter to Killer Mike's multifaceted career and public presence.

Kansas City Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes' father, Pat Mahomes Sr., faced legal trouble on Saturday when he was arrested in Tyler, Texas, for driving while intoxicated (DWI). Records from the jail indicate that Mahomes Sr. was charged and later released on $10,000 bond.

This arrest marked his third DWI charge, with previous incidents in 2012 and 2018. The details of the recent arrest are not clear at the moment. In 2018, Mahomes Sr. pleaded guilty to a DWI charge and served a 40-day jail sentence on weekends from 2019 to 2020.

The timing is concerning as his son, Patrick, is gearing up to lead the Chiefs in the Super Bowl against the San Francisco 49ers, aiming for his third Super Bowl ring and MVP trophy. Mahomes Sr. is a retired professional athlete, known for his 11 MLB seasons as a pitcher with various teams.

    Jason Momoa Super Bowl Ad

Dive into the T-Mobile Super Bowl commercial where Jason Momoa, Zach Braff, and Donald Faison join forces to give a musical twist to Irene Cara's "Flashdance... What a Feeling" from the iconic 1983 film. Jennifer Beals, the star of Flashdance, makes a surprise appearance in this entertaining ad, and Billboard has an exclusive peek behind the scenes of the recording.

In the commercial, Braff and Faison approach Jason Momoa's door, only to discover that his Super Bowl party is canceled due to cable Internet issues. Braff starts singing adapted lyrics to the '80s classic, expressing the need for new WiFi, and Faison chimes in with the benefits of T-Mobile's Home Internet with 5G.

Aquaman himself, Jason Momoa, joins in for a lively chorus, showcasing his unexpected vocal prowess and even recreating the iconic Flashdance wet chair scene. The ad takes a humorous turn when Jennifer Beals appears at the end, playfully urging Momoa to redo the entire number shirtless.

Flashback to 1983, when Irene Cara's "Flashdance... What a Feeling" dominated the Billboard Hot 100 for six weeks, aligning with the success of the film, which ranked as the third-highest-grossing film of the year in the U.S.

This year's commercial follows the pattern of Braff and Faison's previous Super Bowl ad, where they reimagined lyrics to "Summer Nights" from Grease alongside John Travolta.

Who had the best performance at the Grammys?

The 66th GRAMMY Awards marked the grand finale of this year's Grammy season at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Feb. 4, 2024. Music's brightest stars gathered to celebrate each other's successes and deliver standout performances throughout the night.

Diverse musical genres took center stage, beginning with Dua Lipa's lively dance-pop showcase that set the tone for a night filled with captivating performances. Miley Cyrus, who later clinched the Record of the Year for her single "Flowers," graced the stage alongside other chart-toppers like Travis Scott, Olivia Rodrigo, Billie Eilish, Burna Boy, SZA, and a remote performance from U2 at Las Vegas' Sphere arena.

The ceremony paid homage to both living and late musical legends, featuring Tracy Chapman and Luke Combs performing "Fast Car," and Joni Mitchell making her Grammys debut at 80, alongside Brandi Carlile, Alison Russell, Lucius, Blake Mills, and Jacob Collier. Fantasia enthralled the audience with a powerful tribute to the late Tina Turner, while Billy Joel debuted his first new single in years, "Turn the Lights Back On."

Beyond the electrifying performances, the 2024 Grammys witnessed memorable moments. Taylor Swift surprised with the announcement of her next album, "The Tortured Poets Department," and secured her fourth Album of the Year win. Jay-Z delivered a pointed yet appreciative roast of the Recording Academy, and Celine Dion made a surprise appearance after more than a year away from the public eye due to her battle with Stiff Person Syndrome.
